Thanks, Wudj for all the commentary videos this season. It's beyond helpful to know what's going on in the mind of one of the best players on the planet. I really appreciate it!
Probably not an achievement for most people here, but thanks to guides like these from wudijo and Rax, I just cleared my first ever GR130. I'm at around 1250 paragon at the moment and I flew through it fairly easily with around 5 mins on the timer so I could definitely go a little higher. After some decent XP farming to get myself to a much higher level, I am starting to actually think a solo GR150 is something I can actually realistically achieve. EDIT: Update, I'm now Para1478 and I just cleared my first GR140. Hopefully by next week I can have cracked the big 150 solo
Rumor has it that wudi's gf herself, hasn't cleared any class above 130 and she hates farming for paragons. Gz for your achievement and gl to anything else you want to accomplish :)
Thanks for all these videos wudi, they've been very helpful. I've never gone beyond around gr120 in any previous season, following your guides I just hit p2k yesterday, and cleared a 149.
thank you for this very detailed guide, mastering rotations on the fire monk has become an ultimate goal for me, it really does take quite a lot of skill, there is so many things happening all at the same time, but when your timings are right and you hit the sweet spot, boy is it satisfying 👊
Very nice video as usual, thanks for sharing the tips and helping people reach 150 ! Had a (short) blast this season as monk is barely my main (posted my clear on my chan, always interested in some feedbacks). An additionnal tip if i may : for the flying dragon uptime, i usually look at my assimilation stacks, and how often they refresh after the 3rd punch. looking at the cooldown bar on top of the icon, you can see if it reaches a certain treshold (no FD) or if they refresh nearly instantly (FD up). Also, i sometimes use ingame sound to get the feeling (listening at the frequency of the "bim bim paw" of the generator). Both methods assume you are punching to get the info, but seems more "casual friendly" than opening the damage sheet. Hope that helps, and thanks again :)
I never passed 120 or ever wanted to push but your videos this season have helped me achieve 134. The season buffs definitely helped but your explanations are spot on. Thanks for the videos
That was great, thanks. I just hit 1900 paragon so the 150s are coming soon. Highest so far is goofing around 142 big stick tempest rush with no stricken.
Gonna have to give inner sanctuary a try. Currently at 143 at para 1600, can definitely do a bit higher as I just got weapon upgrades (still trying for a fire/crit/crit pledge). I might need to check to see if I'm running too much cooldown. Your breakdown of the timings to maximize the shard of terror stacks is super helpful. I'm at the point where I'm going to be transitioning from speed runs (115 cold or 120ish fire) to just farming with my push gear (130+). After taking a quick look at the XP numbers, it should be a substantially better way to farm paragon solo. Hoping to hit 2500ish this season to have a solid chance at a 150 without too much fishing.
Thanks for the most Excellent guide. Playing Innas for the first time this season and I was getting very frustrated with some of the mystic alley "misfires" I was experieincing where I felt like they were doing almost nothing. Now I know it was just me being a n00b.
hey wudi, you're killin it this season! watched all your videos man. thank you for explaining so many mechanics in this video. I did have a question -- and it might seem slightly off-topic so no worries if you read this and think "why's he asking this?" but I was wondering about Stricken... is Stricken more powerful for a build like Frenzy Barbarian compared to most other builds? Frenzy famously has very little AOE, but because of how Bastion's Revered works in spreading damage in a 15y radius it's hard for me to say it's *not* an aoe-build. I guess my question is: with the huge attack speed from 10 stacks of Frenzy, would Stricken stack very, very rapidly on this build? I've tried to test it and all I can come up with is "me do big damage with Stricken, but me do less big damage without Stricken" both across the GR and during the RG fight. lmao. anyway, thanks for your input if you have any time to respond :D
Stricken is actually massive on Frenzy because both Battle Rage Bloodshed and Bastion's Revered don't apply it so it all goes to your Frenzy and you can really notice your main target melting in a pull when you focus them down
hi Sir, i am new to monk, my 2nd season. i watched your video, however can i conclude 1.we pull small creep + 1 stack elites (fire inna) due to small AOE 2.press serenity to tank, then wait CoE to fire 3.press mystic ally boom ? then cyclone strike to pull leftovers ? how about the first skill hundred fist, any stacking required?
I'm having trouble with the shenlong timing. Also, going from speed T16 and speed GR farming to GR pushing is throwing my internal clock off as far as when cool downs are over. Also, I'm under 1k paragon, so it's been a bit of a struggle.
shenlong timing shouldnt be too much of an issue as even if the buff isnt up, pressing mystic ally refills most of your spirit instantly anyway so theres only a small window for error
Also only do one "thing" per gaming session. Have a couple of days of T-16 farming to build up _a lot_ of keys. Then do a few days of GR pushing. Without switching back and forth your reflexes should adjust, and … You'll be able to fine tune your build and won't make minor mistakes like follower set up.
for shenlong: a) you have the buff already: press mystic ally, then cyclone immediately b) you don't have the buff: get to at least ~25% spirit, then mystic ally + cyclone
That bit about Serenity cooldown and the headgem isnt really clear, thanks for that. Swapping when i cast which defensive helped a bit. Then I was like how that many generator stacks? I never get more than 3... Turns out ive been tearing my hair pushing GR143 with blazing fists instead of annihilation (leftover from the speedbuild i never really noticed) I flew through 144 and 145!, basicly. minutes left not seconds. Tomorrow starts the push for the last 5!! Though i expect to brick wall a bit more since im only paragon 1400 and i need unity for damage. :)
Is there a way to see the coe cycle on a different screen or something like that so that I can glance at it. I'm always trying to find the icon on my screen and it always moves.
What I always wanted to ask: You are so meticulously with your guides and gameplay but your bank looks like a blue goblin exploded in it ^^. Is it just to not waste time in lava town? :P
well, it starts kinda sorted and gets more and more chaotic until I decided to clean it every few days, at this point I'm really stuffed though with like 8 mule chars full and the stash too because I geared up 15 different builds, gotta start pushing with all of them and then delete some
TLDR: play monk? Kappa I kid aha, great content as always :D Would be cool to see some LOD twister if that's ever you cup of tea to play. It's funny. Someone said this season everybody will do solo 150's. What I'm seeing here looks pretty much like playing piano. Very nice mate, you're doing great, but most of us are very bad at playing piano. So no 150's for everyone I'd say. Dunno for you guys but that Shenlong mechanic is killing me.
I understand everyone has their individual preferences, but I'm amazed people still play D3 when POE is available. Play POE for two full leagues and you'll find out it's nearly impossible to return to D3.
I'm struggling so hard with GR147 even though I'm on 1650pp and all my gear is fairly optimized and augmented and my legendary gems are level 143. I'm not sure what's wrong honestly.
right there with you. honestly i think my biggest issue was i was punching during the booms. im hoping by stopping doing that i will have the dps to go for my first 150 clear.
Sometimes it's crazy. 147 was hard for me, but then 148 i could clear with a few keys. 149 was a PAIN. Then right after cleared 149, I jumped into 150 and failed it by 10 secs and it would been a clear if either I found a pylon for the boss, or got a better RG (voracity.. with half and a minute left..) Then I needed around 200 keys to clear 150, been very close many times. Honestly the thing that just made me loss it's RNG and very very bad luck, AKA stupid allies AI and not booming, running everywhere, procing flying dragon out of fire cycle, getting pylons on the wrong spot, etc. The good thing about inna is that is not THAT fishy, for the record, i've failed a double festering woods into battlefield (got no good pylons btw) and then almost cleared with shitty cave floors. I think that good mob type >> map for this build Keep trying and just go over over and over again!!
@@agustinortu702 200 keys to clear 150? That's some dedication. I have used roughly around the same amount of keys total for all my GRifts runs not saying I so high level GRifts.
@xCoupDeGracex yeah but that does not mean that I go all the way 200 times and killed the boss.. I've must killed no more that 5 or 6 150 Rift Guardians.. I've just skipped rifts if I made mistakes, dont like the mobtype or layout, if I spawn useless pylons or bad positioned ones, or sometimes simply things don't go well. That said, wudi himself always used thousands and thousands of keys to get his pushes, so a couple hundred is nothing against that
Do the seasonal journey (Shift + J) on PC. You get a "free" six piece set to use once you complete the first few chapters. After that, move your skills around to compliment the six piece set you received. At that point you should be nuking T10+
if you already have a working build then use that to farm materials and blood shards and just gamble on a freshly boosted lvl 70 char until you have a working T16 build (either get boosted by someone or do it yourself with gem of ease legendary gem)
So no true. Im 5000+ paragon and I clear 147 1 out of 3. Have almost all prima gear tho. Some times need 3 to 7 Mystic allies to blow to kill elite.. 12mil sheet dmg. Also I die about 5-15 times a run. soooo fail build
