Well as far as i can think: the point of the game developers was the reality they saw themselves, all people follow their leaders or the majority choices and follow the common flow without a question, they don't know why they are jumping in the blackhole but they still do because everyone was doing to follow the flow going on. But exceptions do exist, some people question the flow and reality themselves and follow their own path and people who match wavelengths of their thoughts like each other just like they started singing out of no where. When they go again in normal life alone, they find everyone is trying to avoid them just because they chose their own path and disregard their's and call them "what a wierdo he is *laughing noices*" and then they get tired of this world and lose the interest in life and take their own lives since they were never given choice to follow their own path and question the reality themselves for example questioning existence of gods and demons themselves.
