I don't often comment on videos but I have to tell you this was the best video I watched to learn Studio masking. I watched Pinnacle's video's and did not learn how to do masking. They went too fast and covered too much and did not explain well enough how to do key frames to be able to adjust the mask. They used key frames but too fast. I walked away from your video and went and blurred a background object and also blurred and black & white'd some parts of it. So for each clip I had two masks, and I had many clips that I had to subtract from the masks so as to not mask a moving foreground object then add back to the masks as it passed by. Thanks you for the video.
Hi I have upgraded to this software, when I try to cover my number plate like your video the reg number still shows up ? there is no blurred area , I have tried lots of times, any help would be great thanks.

Couldn't figure out why my masking wasn't working. I didn't realize the mask track had to be directly above the video track for it to work. Thank you.

Sorry to say but masking is not available on Pinnacle studio 23 , only on Pinnacle Studio Ultimate.
you have to have Ultimate.
