    • @MariamEdibles
      @MariamEdibles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes please but the custard will give it this yellowish creamy colour but you can use flour instead, the results is the same, is only colour deference

    Is it only vanilla essence u need to use i have pineapple can't i use it

    • @MariamEdibles
      @MariamEdibles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NO YOU CAN'T USE IT
      vanilla is specifically for ice creams, cakes and others. Remember is coconut ice cream not vanilla or pineapple ice cream but if you add small drops of vanilla essence, it will enhance the flavour but it can never over take the coconut flavour unlike pineapple, it will compete with the coconut flavour. So if somebody taste your ice cream the person will be wondering, whether is coconut or pineapple flavour. In a nutshell YOU CAN'T USE PINEAPPLE in coconut ice cream

    Why not Coconut essence instead of vanilla essence

    • @MariamEdibles
      @MariamEdibles  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      YOU CAN ADD IT BUT THAT CANNOT REPLACE THE VANILLA ESSENCE.
      the coconut fruit used to make the coconut milk already has the coconut flavour so you don't need any additional artificial coconut flavour again my dear. Vanilla essence and ice creams are Inseparable except for those who personally don't like vanilla

      Dear please for the preparation of the coconut milk can I use fresh coconut rather than dried ones?

    • @MariamEdibles
      @MariamEdibles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jemimahkyei7540 yes but the taste won't be like the dried ones, do you know why? Because the dried ones has a lot of oil and is the oil that makes your milk creamy and the creaminess of the coconut milk will make any dish you use the coconut milk for stands out. The taste will be exceptional and super good👍

      Sorry but it was added to the custard when I was mixing the custard with water. I had a call during the filming and I was using my phone so I couldn't capture that part. I learned a lesson from that, so anytime I'm filming with my phone I put it on airplane mode. Sorry once again but add the salt ok, if you know more about ''taste and flavour'' you will understand me better when I say add ''salt''

      Did you make it too light? Mine because of the custard powder I added after it cools down it became thick but not too thick that is how most Ghanaians like their ice cream. Please text time if you don't want it to be blocked increase the milk powder or the custard powder or the evaporated milk
