As a daycare teacher of 35+ years i totally agree. If a family needs 2 or 3 days. Please make them consecutive days. Your child will have less anxiety with the transition.
On another note, would you please talk about potty-training as partners with their daycare provider.

Definitely!! Great idea. There's so much to unpack within that topic. Thank you 👏🏼

i totally agree with everything you said. but i can't afford more than 1 full day. i'm a burnt out mom and 1 full day off for me would change my life for sure. i can't do 2 part time days because my husband goes to work at 930 leaving me only 2 1/2 hour break since part time ends at 12pm. my kid is 15 mo. so i don't have many other options. and no family/friends around to help.

I hear you! Sometimes there aren't any options in specific situations. And the price of childcare doesn't help. Trying your best for sure! ❤️❤️

Some states have subsidized programs or state financial assistance. Check into it or DM me on IG, FB, or Tiktok if you have any questions on it!

Would full time include everyday but half days?

@@stephanieheintzman163 When I say full time I mean full 5 days, but 5 days half days is also much better than Tues and Thurs only, for example. 4 or 5 half days starting out though (esp. if your little one is having a hard time) is a great option though.

what a sad sentence, It's all that they can remember.

it's really not though...having loving caregivers together with mom and dad, feeling happy and well adjusted...it's not an issue. Most do not have memories before age 3 anyway, but having a loving caregiver and safe, healthy environment will significantly impact them.
