Hello there! 👋🏻 If you're going to leave a comment about the music, you can spare yourself the trouble. I'm well aware, thank you, and I've changed my method since I made the video. Thanks for stopping by!

Personally for me, Lange totally transformed my damaged hair to silky, glossy, and soft in a few days (plus it straightened my hair surprisingly, yet still had volume.) My mother saw it all over Facebook and bought a ton of stuff, so I thought, why not try it out? Like I said my hair was kinda dry even though I brushed it a lot, and was getting very wavy at the ends. My hair has been stick straight since birth so while wavy hair is very pretty, I didn't like it at all on me. I used the Lange shampoo and conditioner on me (while mixing in a bit of my regular ones) and washed my hair with it. When it was dry I used the hair polish, hair lotion, and a tiny bit of volumizing mousse. Another trick I picked up from my mother was spraying some of your regular hairspray on a brush and brushing it out to keep it straight and tame frizz. (You can also use the Lange luster spray for that!) My hair had never looked so pretty :) Ever since then I've been obsessed and all my hair products come from Lange, including my hair straightener, curling iron, blow dryer, heat protectant, hairbrush, shampoo and conditioner, and even some other products. I totally 10/10 recommend, but I realize not everyone will have the same experience. To anyone who hasn't tried it out though, I really recommend buying from there. I've gotten SO many compliments and have been told I had quote un quote "princess hair." Because of how glossy and smooth and soft it was. I have a few hair tips as as well! Wash your hair once every 2-4 days, it really depends on your hair type. I'd say at least twice a week. Brush it often, I do 100 times in the morning, a few in the evening if it's getting tangled, and 100 times at night. Make sure you're sleeping in protective hairstyles, and silk pillowcases protect your hair as well. If you have damaged hair or want to promote hair growth, you can use a hair mask. I use one anywhere from once a week to once a month. You can also make hair masks at home. Use a heat protectant whenever using heat on your hair, and when it's wet I recommend using a Lange hair product so it dries nicely (make sure it's for wet or damp hair only) and let it air dry. Hope this helps you beauties out there! Btw Kara, your hair is beautiful ❤️

Food for thought some people don't realize about l'ange. Their products are very concentrated. You don't need much. I have frizzy, coarse, 2b/2c hair type hair to my butt. For instance, If I use posh hair polish I literally only need a pea size amount for all this long, thick, and dry hair. Also it is important to know your texture, type, and density to know which of their products will be better for you and your type. Also if you are allergic to things take note of which products my have your allergen. I have an acrylate/methacrylate allergy therefore their products with that are off limits for me. I only use the ones that my hair type needs and the amount that I need.If you oil easily you may want to use even less than me and avoid the scalp with it. If I use the correct products for me and correctly for my type they are the best. It may take a little time to find your right balance. Even with my dry hair if I use too much it can get too oily. If I stick with less is more when it comes to them it comes out perfect everytime. Everything I have used has truly been a 5 out of 5 for me and no I am not a L'ange promoter. I don't work for them or get paid. I just really love their stuff and wanted to help with some knowledge you might not know. You don't need much to get the job done.

I wish I’d found this review before I spent so much money on this product line. I’m so disappointed in the products I purchased that I’ve used so far. ☹️ All the reviews I read before made it sound like it was the answer to all my hair problems and needs. Instead it left me with heavy greasy looking hair. The only thing good is the smell. Everything I used smells so good.

    • @kara.g.

Yeah, I found myself in your shoes. Didn’t exactly solve all my problems, but at least it smelled good 🥴

You may have used too much. The products are very concentrated. It does not take much. Literally I have coarse, thick, frizzy, hair to my butt. For instance,I literally need only a pea sized amount of the posh hair polish and it is enough for all of this hair. It is also important to know your type, texture, and density. That will make a difference how much product you really need and which products you need. It has personally transformed my hair.

You are using too much product. These bottles are so small because of using a quarter to half dollar size amount of product, you use a pea sized amount. You then brush that product through the hair to even it out and spread it throughout.

    • @kara.g.
      @kara.g.  ปีที่แล้ว +2

You're right, that would've helped make my opinions more trustworthy! I had already used up lot of the products before deciding to make this video, or even before starting my channel. It also would have been beneficial to show my hair before I started using any of the products for a true comparison, which, again, would've been before I started my channel. For those reasons I did not show myself using the products. Thanks for the constructive criticism!

I did not care for Lange products. They dried my hair out while weighing it down. I do love their hot tools though.
I didn’t like the sea salt spray, both of the oil treatments, heavenly and celestial shampoo and conditioner, the sorbet blow out creme, the thick it volumizing cream, the silk venom hair masque, and the satin gloss.
All of these dried out of my hair and weighed it down. I have coarse hair with waves.
I do like the thermal tool cleaner. It’s good. I do heat style my hair on the regular and I love their hot tools. I love their waving tools and their blow dry brushes. I did buy a straightener bc mine died after over a decade. I haven’t used the straightener yet.
I would not buy any of their products full priced. They have sales all the time.

    • @kara.g.

The pomade felt and went on like glue, awful. They wouldn’t take it back due to their return policy. Do not pay full price, buyer beware. Will not purchase from them again.

Ok... you're using some of this so wrong (thick it). Lol. Blow out s/c is to smooth hair while blow drying. It makes my hair very smooth when used that way (you NEED GLASS HAIR IN YOUR LIFE IF YOU USE THE BRUSH BLOW DRYER!). If you use them correctly, you might have a better experience. I had no luck with Silk V. Or the leaving in... but remedy, nourish and sorbet... yes. And replenish is great for the days when I'm lazy and just want a quick brush out. I think people's hair reacts uniquely to different products. You and I, for example, have very different experiences.

Haha I was just trying to follow the instructions on the site 😅 I'm glad to hear your experience with the products has been much better than mine! I do still use the Sorbet and Satin Nectar.

I’ve been really surprised with Lange. I finally bit the bullet and ordered the straight iron. It was hot to the touch, heavy and just didn’t feel comfortable for some reason. I’ve been curling and straightening my hair with a chi iron for years. I couldn’t even use this one which seems crazy but true. I gave it away and bought one from Costco that I love. I saw a video on the Eleve blow dryer brush and was blown away! The person used “Thick it” hair cream and it dried full with beautiful shape. I have fine hair so thought I would give it a try. I used about a nickels worth for my shoulder length hair and it was horrible! It felt like I used the entire bottle! The brush dried my hair fine but left it straight straight except at the root where it was puffy. I had to put my hair in a slick ponytail. I went to put in a return and clicked the link where they were to send me an “authentication” via email. Tried it 3 times to no avail. Then I read that they don’t take hair products in return!!! It doesn’t say that anywhere except on the separate page that explains all returns. Most companies will put that front and center so you know up front that they don’t “guarantee” their hair products. I don’t have extra money to throw in the trash can and I am so disappointed with Lange. All of their products and tools are very expensive and a lot of people love them. You would think they have enough profit to return the money to those that their hair care doesn’t work on. I’m going to have to contact customer service now since their return products link isn’t working. Ugh! Never ever again will I “ try” any of their tools or products. What a rip off!

So w/ thick it cream, why not open the cap , & put some back lol. I know we all have different opinions. But I have curly hair, fine texture, & love it for overall texture not just volume.

I am not impressed with L’ange hair tools and hair products. I am going back to use my regular clean beauty products. Tweak by Nature and another by Joyce Giraud. L’ange products made my hair greasy and difficult to style. The heating hair products did not hold or helped my hair to keep curls, etc.
I already have beautiful healthy long hair and I am very particular.

I have used L’ange products for a long time but I too ain’t a fan of all the products. My favorite is the posh. Omg, it’s the best. Leaves hair soft and last forever. I have recently gotten some new stuff to try but I can’t do oil stuff due to having oily hair as it is. I do appreciate your review but I do feel that a lot of the products are aimed for people that do use heat in their hair. I am not a fan of their shampoos but love their masks. I use the le volume religiously, I don’t need to flat iron hair after blow drying cause it leaves hair super soft and shiny.

    Thank you for this review!
I personally like some of the tools. That’s what brought me to looking at the products…
I like the thick it cream but literally only need 1-2 pea size amount in my hair while wet then blow dry. For me it works more as a humidity shield. 😅
I also like the trois chic hair spray because I can adjust the spray to a light amount.
I have a travel size of the Sea+Salt spray but I haven’t tried it yet.
I don’t think I’ll ever try any of the shampoo/conditioners because I have naturally dry wavy hair. Most shampoo dries out my hair the way you were saying, like straw. So, I’m really cautious and read all of the ingredients.
But I have found it is a lot of trial and error.

The heat protectant smells like pure alcohol on my hair. It’s awful. The Le Volume is gigantic and for those with hair even shoulder length it gives zero volume. Most of their products are so full of alcohol my hair just felt like straw. Another company that takes advantage of influencers with how wonderful they are. When in reality my hair was better with Walgreens products.

I, too, am going back to Walgreens and Walmart shelved products. Been fighting with my hair, wanting it to do something it's not naturally predisposed to doing & now menopause has changed it so that it's thinning terribly. I don't think L'ange products have done anything to care for my hair.
