I have a Kurilian Bobtail and the funny part is I adopted her from a local animal shelter as a feral stray kitten and I wonder how she got here considering her homeland is so far. The people that give her shots don't even know what breed she is but her coat is unique since they don't have allergies.
We have two kurilian bobtails and I can tell you, they are absolute dolls. Coda is a male cat and he is the most easy going and friendly cat I have ever met. Fine is also friendly, but she gets a little too excited sometimes when someone pets her for too long, she prefers playing.
My bobtail cat looks like that! She's smart and cute! She's grey and has some white. She's so fluffy and her bob tail is the most cute tail on earth! It looks like a bunny rabbit because of all the fluff! Her name is KiKi

I adopted a Bobtail named KiKi (about 4 years ago), 12 years old at the time here in San Francisco.......very small 6 lbs., grey, of course the 2-inch stub of a tail, the quintessential LAP CAT..........COULD THIS BE KIKI???........looking for information about her past, if you had to give her up for some reason.......PLEASE respond.....Thx, STOCKDOC

My Kurillian Bobtail looks exactly like the at at 1:58. He is a handsome boy. His name is Spike because of his spiked tail. He is sweet, but always hungry. He seems to get bigger everyday. Is it true that these cats take 2 full years to mature to full size? My Spike is getting HUGE. He likes to take walks with me and the dogs.
Has anyone confirmed the pack hunting? That's seriously unique behavior for any feline. Lions are the only other example I know of. Tried checking google but everything I could find was in Russian. Breed needs to be studied!
Nah, that was a joke. Bringing down a small bear? Oh, come on! Yet, they do practice a social pride-like life and they are proficient hunters for real.
im pretty sure my cat is at least part of this species, the bobtail is very similar alongside her facial and body structure. though she's smaller, only 9 pounds and she's on the more chunky cat, and that may because she was a runt. she's also a bright orange so yeah, probablu a mix.

I've got a 4 month old female. Her Dad is a real brute of a cat he's huge and stocky.

These cats are awesome, I have a male named Cloe a year and a half and he is already 13 pounds of all muscle!
And one more point. The urine of this cats does not smell unlike usual.
Most likely your cat is a sterilized female. :3 I would believe cat urine most likely has less odor if spayed/neutered.
