How to import mapping file: Go into Fmodel, click settings and you will see mapping file path on the first page that comes up, click the 3 dots and choose where you have your mapping file and then restart FModel
The first file path in the settings says Output Directory for me, and when I put it to the folder where the mapping file is located, still fails and the image preview doesn't show in the FModel
forget it, managed to fix it. there's a checkbox "Local Mapping File" that needs to be checked before putting the filepath of the mapping file. all good now. great video.
Update on name changing: It is possible by editing the Volta.locres files, editing it is quite easy and I think I will make a video tutorial for it this week and maybe post it next. Although editing the sponsor names isn't that important as it's only seen when choosing sponsors it is nice to have.

I select "use pak file," "use Io store," "generate chunks," "cook everything in the project content directory," and "allow chunkID assignments." I create the folders as instructed, the Photoshop files are properly saved as TGA, and I set the "107" option... but nothing shows up. Am I missing something?
UPDATE: The files weren’t being generated because my username had an accent (I’m Spanish). I did the same thing but changed the destination folder to avoid any folders with accents, and it worked. Thank you very much!!
Hi mate, how do I edit driver pictures and names for all my saves? On the f1savefileeditor I can change names and birth dates but I need to repeat for every save. Also I can’t edit the driver pictures which I really want to do.
Driver names should be in volta.locres and you will have to look for the pictures but if you download a mod that changes UI you can check what it changes and find the folders there

Did you click ctrl a and then select the sponsors and assign chunk then select a number over 2 and ok. Then save all and package project in a new folder

If you mean with the assign chunk id: select all logos and assign chunk and select a number (preferably over 2). This number will be assigned to all logos
When you click package project you create a folder and click it and then click select folder in the bottom right, then it starts to create the files and lets you know when its done, when it is go to that folder and the path I said in the video and you will have your mod files there
