I am so grateful to the Karmapa for explaining how to ask questions to a Teacher. Karmapa kindly reminds us what the topic of the meeting is and to what extent he is able to meet expectations and sets boundaries. This introduces an atmosphere of concentration, without unnecessary elation or sensation. Karmapa works for the benefit of all beings. He prevents the recipients from falling into religious ecstasy. others will not fall into the misconception of looking for politics in a course about something else, etc 😊❤🙏

Sorry for saying this. I am Buddhist . I have notice all Tibetan monk teach a lot but do not practice what they say. They live a luxury life style. First wrong step of Buddha said . See Jain monk

I will write this from my perspective, an ordinary person. In my life, so far I have met Buddhist monks, Teachers and even Lamas and I did not notice that they lived in luxury. I doubt they would hide a luxurious life from me because they might not pay attention to me. From what I remember the Buddha said that the ascetic practices he himself had undergone would be too hard for most people. The Asceticism should be a choice, not an obligation. If it were a duty, the whole process of ascetic life loses its sense because it becomes a show. We are all human. I am human and I have my human potential. If someone wants to live like specific monks - it is possible to do so. As for my life - I leave the choice to myself 😊❤🙏
