I gave you a 👍🏾, but I kinda don’t agree. I have been single for 12 years, at first it was challenging being alone. Now, I love being alone. I have more “me time”. I developed a hobby of caring for plants. I spend more time with my children. If I don’t feel like cooking a big dinner for a man, cheese and crackers are fine for me. I love being free to do as I wish to do. I don’t like working so hard to please ppl, and no matter what you do it’s never enough. I like having all my money to save and do as I wish.
Concentrate on yourself, love yourself, be good to yourself, and being alone will come easy. Just don’t think about the fact that your alone. Find some single friends and go walking together. You have God so ur never alone.

That didn't work for me Lynn! I dress to part, hung out with business owners because I was really trying to get to where there were (SUCCESSFUL)! I have/had my own business. But my money wasn't where theirs were (of course they didn't know it). I ran into people randomly, held conversations with them and many were surprised to know that I was really "NoWHeRE", sort of speak. Then they were like, "I never knew you was looking for this or that. Or needed that or this! Because, the way you walk, the way you taLK and dress, you even drove nice cars, so I or we thought you HAD IT ALL!
So, that didn't work for me.
I was out a few months ago walking back and forth from a building that interested me for my business. I had to bypass the older couple sitting in their truck to get back to the guy who had the key to the building. My last trip back to my car the couple had gotten out of the truck, I spoke joyfully as I walked passed they. The older guy said, "Excuse me ma'am. But, if I didn't Know any better, I'd swear you had a MILLION DOLLARS in your pockets"!
The three of us laughed it oFF, I ended the conversations by saying, "May God Bless you two, and I receive that Blessing sir!"
Which I get those type of comments all the time. So how can I make the walk/talk/dress code/etc become reality! This seem for me more like FAKING until you MAKE IT! FAKING it has lead to people "KNOWING not THINKING" that you're ALReaDy there!
People even dislike me and I love everybody! Because, they have that, "She think she's this or that mentality!"
It's driving me CRaZy that I give advise to help others get ideas and get their business started but can't seem to get it right for mySeLF! Yes, finances plays a Mayor RoLe in it for me.
