It’s so refreshing to see someone like you not be sure of their future and just hanging in there. Many people struggle with knowing what they want at a young age and I like that you show your struggles too.
my advice as a 21 year old, don’t feel forced to move out until you’re out of school (or primary college aged) the structure of having a home during that period that is familiar can be really helpful bc early 18-23, 24 is super rough. If you do go to a college I’d say embrace campus living (single, dorm, campus apartment) before signing a lease somewhere and settling in that way🫶🏻
hey girl! new york girly here, I’ve lived here literally ALL my life. If you want the city-vibe and like that vibe definitely recommend the upper East side (obviously) and it’s perfect if you want to consider something like fashion school. There’s also this charming town called bronxville, which is not in the city but it’s super hallmarky and it’s just SO nice plus there’s a train station right there so u could go to the city whenever. it’s also in the weschester area so there’s always something to do
As someone who has experienced both the American and a couple of European school systems, I would, without a doubt, go to university in Europe (but that's my personal preference). If a big change is what you really need and want, moving out of the country to study is the best of both worlds, as it's not permanent, but you really get to change your environment, meet new people, and get to know a different culture. I've heard really good things from friends studying at University of Edinburgh, University of the Arts London, and Institut Français de la Mode.

honestly jules youre still young and you should live your life how you want to. being spontaneous is normal and if you feel that youre ready to move out do it. nothings holding you back but if you want to stay thats obv fine too. plus youll have many opportunities even when youre older. theres no need for you to be stressed out abt education. the only thing that matter is that youre happy and that you love what youre doing.
i really enjoy living in atlanta! its nice because i feel like its a nice blend of the city and busy life, but also really easy to just leave all that hustle. i study film and fashion, and SCAD is really nice for that! they have a campus in atlanta and it’s honestly so gorgeous.
Jules this is your sign to leave la. It’s full of superficial people and it’s rare to find trustworthy people! I think any city that is fashion based like nyc or London will be good for you. You’ll meet a lot of like minded people and more people who are real. And just being in a different environment can open so many more doors and create long lasting friendships. I also think it would be good for you to choose a fashion school that you can study abroad. I see that you like traveling so it would be perfect for you because you can spend a semester in another country and meet all different types of people and be able to have all these different experiences!
Cause if she's changing it I'd be fine with it just that I would never get to go to a concert of hers uf she switchs her career away from acting and singing and youtube
you have such a comforting vibe jules, i'd love to be besties with you! and i really relate with wanting to leave home and travel. i've lived in new zealand my whole life and i'm getting bored of it so around may this year i spontaneously booked a one year working holiday in the UK and i'm leaving in november next year! it's probably the best decision i've ever made

i think having hayley and your mom living in la would be helpful if you were to move out to another country or state bc then when you need to fly back to la you have somewhere to stay and you can also keep some stuff there. before deciding where to move to you should stay for a while in the potential places to see how you like it and get a feel of it. i think london would be cool because it’s quite different to the states but before making a decision make sure you’re certain it’s what you want ❤

hii i live in nashville, it's the BEST community here for youngerish people like our age roughly. it's easy to connect here and a lot of us kind of relate in the sense that we don't have a direction but at the same time, we know what we WANT to do lol. i will say that this community is super great for creatives/people trying to get discovered. i don't know that there's a lot of modeling/fashion connections here, my circle is mostly in the music/art side of things. it's a really cool place to live if you're happy in a less chaotic environment. it's more exciting than a stereotypical small town, but at the same time a lot of the connections you make here are deep. it was an adjustment for me moving here from california, but i learned to love that fact that you can just say "the usual" when you go to get coffee sometimes and life just kind of moves at your own pace here. cali is crazy girl, i fled as soon as i could lol. i don't know exactly what you're looking for in terms of places to live but if you're wanting like your own little corner of the world TN has a lot of that. xoxo best wishes
I moved to nyc for college and the city can be a lot but I love it here. I usually go upstate if I need a break. once you find the right people and manage the pace of the environment its truly a special place. fashion is all around in New York, so If you want to go into fashion I recommend it here. :)

i know you’ve travelled and i’m saying this as a 19 year old who hasn’t travelled literally anywhere but just take time and go to a place with intentions to move, pro and cons and meet new people!! even if you meet up with one person and then they introduce you to a friend group, don’t stress we all have so much time to make decisions and we have so many mistakes we still have to make.

north carolina has such a big range of things, like you could live in the city if you want, you could live in the country, you could live in the mountains or the beach, it has a wide range. but it’s so beautiful here and comforting. i think you would love it. but i also thing you shouldn’t rush, just enjoy this time with your family and if you really want a change i recommend coming here:)

If you want to go to fashion school I highly recommend it!! I go to FIT and absolutely love itttt. It so much fun. We have a saying here, the city is our campus since our real campus is only a block sadly. If you’re looking for more of a traditional college campus, fit may not be the school you’re looking for, but if you’re ever here, I would love to be your friend. You seem like such a cool and fun person to hang out with 🤗

You should definitely go to SCAD, it’s a design school where you can learn more with acting, singing, design, modeling, SCAD is a great school, they have the college in Savannah and Atlanta. Also I’m moving to Savannah soon so I mean we could totally be besties since I’m 19 already lol
im born and raised in nyc im sixteen and i love it so much there’s so much freedom at my fingertips and there’s so many people here so you’ll find many people who you’ll click with and its a walking city so there’s always something to do

I’m in Ottawa, Canada so it’s not the best place for opportunities like fashion and stuff hahah but I feel like the New York idea with your mom and Hayley moving there too is a really good one! That way if you start school or work there but it ends up not being for you you can go to them and get away from it for a bit. The east coast also has a really great variety of people (as you would know already!) so you could honestly meet some really wonderful friends
Okay so with regards to moving, if you are still in college and you enjoy being with your family, I would say just take it easy. Don't force yourself, or feel like you need to move out or go somewhere to live a more exciting life. For self tan I would really recommend Collistar drops. I also get very pale during winter and I use it like once a week. Just the face drops though. It makes you look a little sun kissed, but nothing to dramatic, and I actually do not self tan my body, because I feel like it's just too much of a hassle. Whereas I just use the face drops as part of skincare routine (and no it does not look weird, it's not like my face is tan and the rest of my body white, this is what works for me)
Come to Chicago !! Chicago is so much cleaner than New York and not as big. There’s a beach and the city is so beautiful and underrated in the summer. There are safe, lively, neighborhoods that are not downtown in the super touristy parts. Lakeview , Old Town, Lincoln Park. It’s such a dope city

def check out the fashion schools in chicago! i feel like this would give a good insight if you would want to move to ny. i like to think of chicago as a smaller version of new york, so it’s not insanely chaotic but still so many things to do. there’s also so many opportunities in the city!
Girl don’t worry we are at the same age and I’m still trying to go to university my options are Barcelona & Uk Take your time and think what are you actually interested and what you love For example I’m trying to train to go to a dance university I wish all the best you got it girllllll😊
If you go to UK university England has most expensive, Scottish universities are free apparently and Welsh universities are discount if you live in Wales.

From experience, I moved somewhere when I was given a great opportunity and I ended up loving it and being fulfilled in every way. as a native new yorker i really love nyc and the culture, and i do think fashion and studying fashion is a big thing here too, so i super recommend it but it is a very hectic city yet, always fun
you're DEFO a Bushwick, Park Slope, Upper East Side, Greenwich Village/West Village girl if you're moving to NYC. Look into Greenwich Village! really pretty! Do it!
girlll come to SCAD in ATL for school!! the main campus is in savannah, but if you want to keep that city vibe, choose the atlanta campus. i’m 18 and i know the city super well. i love the city but i’m like you. traveling is defff a huge thing for me. lots of school around here like georgia tech and UGA have amazing study aboard programs so that’s def something you can look into as well
do some campus tours and see how you feel! if you ever wanna connect or need more tips, i’ll give you my ig! i’m in the college searching process too and i’ve learned a lot
I live in Austin, Texas but go to school at Texas State University (an hour away from Austin) and one thing I love about Austin is like not only the events that are happening all the time but the people there. My friend group each of us are different in our own way and its nice to meet people with different intrests. It is a city but there are like smaller areas in Austin like Pflugerville or Georgetown.

I’m in Ottawa, Canada so it’s not the best place for opportunities like fashion and stuff hahah but I feel like the New York idea with your mom and Hayley moving there too is a really good one! That way if you start school or work there but it ends up not being for you you can go to them and get away from it for a bit. The east coast also has a really great variety of people (as you would know already!) so you could honestly meet some really wonderful friends

Okay so with regards to moving, if you are still in college and you enjoy being with your family, I would say just take it easy. Don't force yourself, or feel like you need to move out or go somewhere to live a more exciting life.
For self tan I would really recommend Collistar drops. I also get very pale during winter and I use it like once a week. Just the face drops though. It makes you look a little sun kissed, but nothing to dramatic, and I actually do not self tan my body, because I feel like it's just too much of a hassle. Whereas I just use the face drops as part of skincare routine (and no it does not look weird, it's not like my face is tan and the rest of my body white, this is what works for me)
you should come to georgia SCAD is an amazing fashion school and georgia is a great place to live ❤

Come to Chicago !! Chicago is so much cleaner than New York and not as big. There’s a beach and the city is so beautiful and underrated in the summer. There are safe, lively, neighborhoods that are not downtown in the super touristy parts. Lakeview , Old Town, Lincoln Park. It’s such a dope city
Jules I'm 19 and I live in London and go to fashion school honestly where I go now isn't the best but two of the best in London Is central st. martins is one of the top and the you have London college of fashion and also Conde Nast which they have multiple locations but I'm looking to do fashion business honestly if u actually want to know what its like I will gladly tell you. and ps keep up with these videos because they keep me sane through all my fashion school projects :)
def check out the fashion schools in chicago! i feel like this would give a good insight if you would want to move to ny. i like to think of chicago as a smaller version of new york, so it’s not insanely chaotic but still so many things to do. there’s also so many opportunities in the city!

From experience, I moved somewhere when I was given a great opportunity and I ended up loving it and being fulfilled in every way. as a native new yorker i really love nyc and the culture, and i do think fashion and studying fashion is a big thing here too, so i super recommend it but it is a very hectic city yet, always fun

girlll come to SCAD in ATL for school!! the main campus is in savannah, but if you want to keep that city vibe, choose the atlanta campus. i’m 18 and i know the city super well. i love the city but i’m like you. traveling is defff a huge thing for me. lots of school around here like georgia tech and UGA have amazing study aboard programs so that’s def something you can look into as well

I live in Austin, Texas but go to school at Texas State University (an hour away from Austin) and one thing I love about Austin is like not only the events that are happening all the time but the people there. My friend group each of us are different in our own way and its nice to meet people with different intrests. It is a city but there are like smaller areas in Austin like Pflugerville or Georgetown.
