I am 64 started with a new company last month, this is after starting with another new company two-years ago where I beat out 140 applicants for a well paying healthcare leadership position. The common denominator of both opportunities was the desire to bring in someone who can mentor and build a team. I know other 60-year olds who are experiencing the same. My message is don’t believe all of the talk of being unemployable past 60 years of age, or 50 for that matter. If you bring vitality, people skills, and confidence born from experience, you are needed.
56 years old and putting in my notice today. Better pay less and less toxicity in the next job. This is what I needed to hear.

I did it at age 47 and have risen to the top of my peer group. I'm fortunate to be on top of the game at age 67.
