    I think we'll continue to see Jade do these most difficult routines because I think mentally she wants to stay sharp so she doesn't have to tweek her routines too much for her run at Paris in 2024. Think about it, with the shortened period between Tokyo and Paris, if she decides to declare herself in the hunt for the US team, she'll have to realistically start "training" probably immediately after the 22-23 NCAA season or sooner.

      We may see Jade, Suni and Jordan back in 2024, they are looking fantastic right now

    • @donaldholderdoc2910
      @donaldholderdoc2910 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@1titans That would be great. I couldn't agree more. And what's great about 2024 is that it's going back to a 5 athlete squad. I think those 3 are a lock if they stay healthy and hungry! It'll be interesting to see the competition for the other 2 spots. And then there's the wild card. Will Simone try for another time or is she done? And if she returns will it be as a part of the 5 team members or theres talk she may want an individual position like Jade did for 2020. Anything could happen between now and the announcement of the team.

  • @MrCph2200
    @MrCph2200 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    First: Jade is SO amazing.🤩
    Second: I understand why there’s a difficulty limit in these competitions even though sometimes it could be a little demotivating for the best gymnasts. I applaud her for having more difficulty than necessary.
    But I think it’s a shame that to these meets 10’s or close to 10’s are being given to so many even though it might just follow some rules I don’t know…
    In her beam (which IS amazing!!) I did however notice that apart from seeing some balance checks here and there that could be some deductions, I noticed these things :
    1. First split - maybe 180 degrees but not convincing
    2. Second split - not 180 degrees
    3. Front walkover: Slightly bend knees
    4. Flick - Slightly bend knees
    5. Backflip - Slightly bend knees
    6. Dismount: Left knee slightly bend
    Score given: 9,75
    Again she’s amazing, but I think it’s a shame that if someone does better split jumps and keeps the knees 100 straight it can’t be rewarded…
    Comments?

      There were a couple scores between 39.9 and 40 and the twice as much for 39.8 to 39.9. But also, depense how you count scores. For example Maggie Nichols had scores between 39.9 and 40 a couple times. Depends if you count is as one or more.

    I love Jade, but I don't know if that beam score is correct. Also, which gymnasts have competed all around so far this season? The meets I have watched, there were very few AA. I know there is only a limited number who can in any one meet, but as the season goes on, I would expect some more competitive AA totals, particularly with the way judges have already been awarding 10s.
