That was SO cute how Elizabeth kept poking around Daddy to see the camera! Can't wait until she learns the 'Bye'! My husband and I always look forward to Buggie's 'Bye's.
I know right! I just started to post the same & then noticed your comment so I stopped. Elizabeth is so much like Buggy was at that age, and still is. They're both little camera hams, but in a very delightful & precious way. lolol.
All your videos are precious, and I will never get over seeing your boys and little girls, they are all awesome. My favorite family. I know your twins won't stay forever, but I'm really glad they're hanging out with the family for now. Thank you for including us.💚💞💖💜
Confession...I absolutely luv when Ben talks about woodchips. His obvious enthusiasm for them makes me smile. I mean, after all, they are Awesome & you can never have too many woodchips. I can't help myself now & end up counting how many times Ben says "woodchips" in his woodchips youtube episodes. Today was a record 19 times. 😊 . Thank you Hollar Family, you all make my heart glad. 🧡
Little Elizabeth is so cute! She was peeking around your head Ben to see the camera! She and little Buggie are so sweet! Thanks for sharing your family!!💜💜💜😊😊🙏
We loved attending the pig class last weekend! You did a great job teaching, and Meg knocked out it off the park with her cooking. It was so nice to meet you guys and make connections with the other class members. Thank you for hosting us!
Precious, Precious family that you all have. The boys/young men, as well as Lilliana and Elizabeth/young ladies, are growing so much. It is obvious that little Miss Elizabeth has totally discovered the camera. She kept peeking around daddy as he was talking to look at the camera. I am ssoooo terribly grateful that you all made it through the Hurricane situation. I know it will leave a lasting effect on all of you and due to my childhood and our having to hide out in the basement when we had the tornados we have here in Michigan it becomes a learning experience that helps you later in life. TYSM for your videos. I find them to be precious for me.
I love to see how you use your animals to help create and do chores around your farm. The pigs in the woods and the chickens in the garden and orchard is brilliant.
Ben, glad the classes are going well. With all the kids helping the work goes so much faster. Our town workers needed somewhere to dump their road asphalt which we took and was free some were millings and some were concrete slabs ( i think were old sidewalks ) which were perfect for some of our projects. You should ask your village, town or county highway departments. Hmm Meg i should've used the word smorgasbord instead of leftovers maybe my kids wouldn't have whined ir made noises😂. Buggy always look forward to her byes and Elizabeth ( she's adorable) won't be far behind now that she's looking into the camera Blessings to you and the family. 😊🇺🇲
🙋🏼♀️🕊. I was wondering about the room extension. , I thought you and those wonderful Young guys of yours, would have it done before winter. So you would have more room in the house 🏡. It would be nice for Meg to have more room since she has three meals to make for the family. She is a Wonder Woman, how she gets all of that done in such a small space. Amazing,. Love this family wishing you all of the very best. 💞🕊💞🕊💞🕊💞🕊
💕💗💕🙏🙏🙏 Thanks for the video. Elizabeth peeking around you and looking at the camera was so adorable, made me smile. Have a blessed week, in The name of The Lord Jesus Christ.💕💗💕
This is best you tube channel. Great family, yall work hard but many hands make work so much easier an enjoyable! And the kids are so nice, show respect, growing into wonderful adults. Thank you for sharing your life with us. God bless yall
Just wanted to say hi to you Karen because I noticed that your name is very similar to my own!😁So nice to meet you here! My last name starts with Mac…anyway, just wanted to say 👋 hey!😊
Elizabeth eyes are so big looking around dad to see what's going on. Both the girls are adorable. All the kids are growing up fast. Loved the bigger boys with their boots on in the chicken coop and the younger one barefoot.🐓🐣God bless
Just FYI, next summer let one or two of your hardneck garlic completely flower out and harvest the "clones". Plant them, sprinkled in a shallow trench when you plant garlic next year. At harvest next summer you will have "rounds". Plant the rounds the next year and you will have heads of garlic.
Compost most be in the air..turned half my compost yesterday and been digging out the chicken run..last chicken died with the help from my dogs!😢.. so new chickens in spring.. and new chicken wire. Hollars living the best life..love and respect to you all.
Wow with the amount of kindness you show everyone I can only hope someone repays the love & helps you out to at least get your addiction framed in for winter! Best of luck ❤
I think Geoff Lawton uses a chicken-coop-on-a-slope design in his Greening The Desert project in the Dead Sea region of Jordan. Check out some of his older videos where he talks about the chicken coop designs at both his project and his neighbor Abla's land. 💚
Every time you start talking about North Carolina, I get sooo jealous because I was born, bred and lived in NC most of my life and now I have been in LA, CA where my daughter and her family has lived for 20+yrs. I have been living here for about 3yrs. But I love watching your program knowing you live in NC!
You have a crew of family workers awesome nice seeing the family get things going . I love working in the garden and weed eating the flowerbeds . Do you have a tiller to till the manure in with the dirt that would take less time doing it with pitchfork . We always mix the compost with garden dirt and put Eldon salt with it to help it get more nutrients after we mix it we water it and cover with plastic until ready to plant. Love your videos keep them coming.Your little one is so cute.
I am so impressed with your orchard! I don't think I've seen it fully in other videos. And what a great way to keep it looking good. In the spring, you can plant herbs, strawberries, lettuces, radishes, or beets over there.
You have some brilliant experiences happening...that chicken fencing screening plan is fabulous. Don't be mad if I love your wife... My mind is pure.... She is a man's dream girl....A rare gem...I want you to realize what a good choice you made... I'm happy for you....I got my own.... She is great too.......Just rejoice! It matters....Yah will show you....
❤ love this channel sow the land and Lumanh so informative and true family values ... good work ethics and bountiful good homestead tucker. Thank you for being in my life from afar ...
I like the mullen plant. Wet and a bit foggy. So you're planting garlic. No garden beds are ready? Wow, those cabbages look wonderful. Yay, getting some compost from the chicken coop. I'm happy to see the boys helping you top dress the garden beds. Nice 12 foot bed of soft neck and 16 foot bed of hard neck! Yum, leftovers from food for the butchering classes, not leftovers but a smorgasbord! A "ratly" feast! What is that from? Ratatouille the movie? I just looked it up and it's from Charlotte's Web! Voices of Paul Lynde and Agnes Moorehead, a veritable smorgasbord! Such a cute reference! What a wonderful dinner you guys! Thanks for this video Hollar family!
Very valuable point on not being able to grow in pure compost !!! You need the soil. You need the soil to be amended......got to have some good dirt !!!!
Spider web incredible. Wow! I was born in S. Cali and impressed on how your family has adapted and not just survived but increased in new environment. Blessings into fall and winter !!!
You are not "too late", with your Planting. From what i understand, as long as it is planted with a bit of time to Root, before Winter? They are good to go! ❤
That's what I did ,planted garlic and onion seed tops and small garlic seed sets, put ashes soil and topped the beds with leaves and the rest of 7 beds with soil from the neighbors sidewalk, then leaves to brake down for soil. Plus I have 3 planters too screw together, and add manure, ashes ,soil then leaves and set the mini green house on top too keep the soil warm till seed time. This coming year I will set up 2 long fences for beans and cucumbers the whole length of my garden and butternut squash on the fence around my garden. And hopefully I will get a couple rows of carrots too grow. Because I planted them 3 times with different types but nothing grew. And even covered with boards and cardboard and kepted them moist.
Thanks for sharing that! I think your grandson came up with the perfect name for it! Scapesto! I'll use that name myself from now on! Have a great weekend!
Lovely to see you pray before meals and that bed of cabbage is amazing. The little one is growing so big and has lovely big eyes like her sister and is so adorable. Seeing buggy working with her brothers and dad in the garlic bed and no shoes hopping around is lovely and so healthy. Love your family and the boys (no longer boys but very wonderful young men). Have a lovely day and your s'morges board.
That was SO cute how Elizabeth kept poking around Daddy to see the camera! Can't wait until she learns the 'Bye'! My husband and I always look forward to Buggie's 'Bye's.

It’s so nice to see a family saying prayers before meals, it doesn’t have to be a long one, but so hearty to see , All of you keep safe and well.❤️🇬🇧🙏
Connecting and being in relationships/friendships is good for us all!!

FYI: Amish in PA use compost piles in greenhouses in winter to help heat them.
Good tip! The Amish have so many good ideas that they use. Have a great weekend!

A friend lined the bottom of their chicken coop with old linoleum so it was easier to clean a couple of times a year.
I love those peach trees. They’ve grown so much.
Might want to save the strawberries from the chickens by transferring them

My grandson was helping me make scape pesto one spring. He said “hey Nana let’s call it Scapesto”. Now that’s what we call it. It seemed fitting! 🥰
Thanks for sharing that! I think your grandson came up with the perfect name for it! Scapesto! I'll use that name myself from now on! Have a great weekend!
That precious baby!!❤❤
I love watching your channel

We also call a counter full of leftovers a Smorgasbord! First ones to the counter get the best selection!
I love ALL The Hollar Homestead videos!
So you say that here as well? I so agree! Have a great weekend!
Bitty Rose is loving her camera time! 💓😊
I can't hear " one fell swoop" with out thinking of comedian Nate Bargatze. :) you have great ideas.
Kids are getting so grown up! I only planted my garlic last week too. Need to check and se if they are coming up.
Elizabeth is so so cute. Peeping around you to see. Great video
