Fantastic capture! May I feature this zero flaps landing in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. All the best to you and happy 2024!
Great catch! I love how you can tell they were coming in hot...yet they had no problem stopping the speedy 737. Love seeing the engineering work as well as the ops team around the airport move when N830SY came to a stop. Thanks for sharing this! Especially love seeing my home/favorite airport get some love on TH-cam.
@@twincitiesaviator What is the appropriate procedure in this case? After touch down, using reverse thrust only to slow down somewhat and then use the brakes, or hitting the brakes right away after touch down together with reverse thrusters?
I mean...I can't help but ask if we could get Airforceproud95 to do a VATSIM session into MSP on an old NWA bird...now that I see he flew past the comment section...
Nice catch! Would you be okay with me featuring this in my series Weekly Dose of Aviation? Of course you will be credited both in the video and in the description as before. Thanks!
Nice shooting! I was parked rampside at the B concourse doing training. The Allegient plane at the end of your video ended up taking off of 30R due to the Alert 2.
Excellent video Bro! can i use it as part of my video for my channel? you will be credited in the video.and you get a backlinks of your original video in my description. thanks
Good catch. It's hard for me to see exactly where they stopped, but they didn't appear to use a whole lot more of 30L than a 737 normally uses when coming in. I'm guessing that they must have used maximum braking or something.
Ya..he stopped before reaching 4/22 so that's pretty short under those conditions. You notice he did have leading edge slats so that helps slows the approach speed a little plus the spoilers deployed soon as he touched down so that helps a little bit too.....

Thank you! Most certainly! Likewise 🍻
Good job crew!

Thanks man! Glad I was able to be in the right place at the right time. 🍻
While they're inspecting the flaps in the hanger ... take a look at the brakes, too. lol
@@luvthedrake1375 no need to check the brakes, they work! 😂

Airport Fire needs a lot of applause for being ready for these emergencies. 👏

Thank you Steve! I forgot where they went thanks for that 😆.
Good teamwork by pilot, ATC and the Fire Department. The plane was able to land safely and that's what counts. Well done!🛬👏👏👏🙏
Landing is always good.
Nice catch!!

Thanks! I can confirm that they did indeed stop in the distance a 738 would on a normal basis.

This ATC pushes tin. Clearing a takeoff when the emergency aircraft is half a minute out.
An aggressive play for sure.
