I love your tutorial and the way you did it. It was perfect. I got more from you working through it than I would have from a perfectly edited video. Thank you.
Thanks for showing your imperfections. It can be reassuring to see that sometimes others have an "oops" and are able to recover the piece in spite of the adjustments. I've noted that at around the 16:15 mark I get to see the way to do it beginning to end. Great job with the math and both cards are fabulous!!! ❤
"I haven't made tunnel cards before but I'm good at math" a sentence I haven't uttered ever 😂 Great cards my friend! Really loved how playful they are! ❤
I had to chuckle - I avoid the stylus too because, for me it usually hops out of the track and wreaks my card stock! Really fun cards and they look perfect to me. Your teaching style is very helpful.
Oh, I'm so glad it's not just me! I feel silly showing my super dull scoring tool in videos, but it's what works for me! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment ♥
Thank you so much! Yes, give it a try! I worry that my video made it seem harder than it is. I think I was just being a perfectionist haha. It really is a fun card to make! And once you make the tunnel card itself, it's so easy to add elements, and pretty much anything is going to look good!
Hi Allison thank you for keeping it REAL!!😊❤. This is my first video I have watched from you and I LOVED how genuine and thoughtful you came across. Your cards are beautiful!! Thank you for showing and sharing your boo boos. It’s not a mistake when you learn from them! With card making it’s happy mistakes, because you learn a better way or you love your mistakes resulting in a better outcome. We all learned from you!! Thank you!!! I love your color combos! I guess I’ll need to purchase all of Spellbinders blues, greens and teals to make a tunnel card. I have the dies coming!! I love this release also! 💕❤️🌈
Thank you so much for your comment and for watching! If you watch any of my other videos, I do tend to keep it real. Sometimes too real...hahaha. I do love learning from mistakes - it's the only way to learn! And I do try to leave certain things in my videos so that people can see that things don't always come together as expected.
Thank you so much for your comment. I second guessed leaving in the mistakes. People are either going to appreciate it or really not like it at all. I appreciate you watching!
It's honestly probably a lot easier than I made it look - haha. I was getting caught up in having perfectly aligned spacing, and you really don't need it. And i'm not sure it exists in the tunnel box universe anyway. You should give it a try!
Thank you, thank you for the demo and dimensions for these fantastic cards! I definitely need to try making these tunnel cards. I can imagine multiple variations of these. Again, thank you for the 'real' demo ... it would be very frustrating to make these and not understanding why they don't always come out perfect. 🤨
Thank you so much! Yes, after making more, I have come to accept that the spacing is never "perfect." Much of that is due to the fact that scoring in itself takes up a little bit of these measurements, so even though the side is 3/4", the scoring alone takes up a teeny bit of that room. Not getting it perfect was driving me crazy until I just accepted it and understood that they always look awesome no matter what! Thank you so much for watching ♥
Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment! If you're talking about the Rainbow Slice set from this collection, I do have plans for that, but it will probably be later next week. I hope you'll stay tuned! ♥
@@allisonfrazierthese cards are amazing! Thanks for a great tutorial. What do you mail these in? (You might have mentioned it; forgive me if I missed it.)
Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment - I really appreciate it. Which dies are you referring to as far as measurements are concerned? Are you talking about the big set of nesting arches?
Thanks for such a comprehensive explanation….. I really had no clue about Tunnel Box cards. I would have thought ‘nah, way too complicated’ but seeing your fab demo makes me think ‘hmmm, those cards look awesome, maybe I can give them a go’ . Oh my, just when I think I don’t need anymore die sets, Spellbinders brings out another delightful collection! Plus, I’ve ordered those Fair Winds dies and now the Tunnel Collection is beckoning 😂. Your cards and methods are so inspirational 🫶🏻
Thank you so much! I'm so glad that you found the video and cards to be inspirational. Yes the Tunnel Scapes collection is very special, and if my cards are anything, it's because I was so inspired by the products themselves! I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment ♥
Thank you for the comment! I do not use or have the BetterPress. However, I do have a lot of the plates because they're fabulous to hot foil with. I figure one day I will probably get the BetterPress, but I haven't been in a rush to do so because I really don't need more distractions around me - haha!
It really depends on the weight. Anything over an ounce would require the additional ounce stamp, which is not that much money. The first one I made in the video (the lighthouse) used all heavy cardstock. Towards the later batches, I was using more 80# stock for layers. I did just weigh them out of curiosity. The lighthouse with an envelope weighs 1 oz. The birds with an envelope weighs 0.9 oz. So, any of them would be fine with a regular stamp.
I love your tutorial and the way you did it. It was perfect. I got more from you working through it than I would have from a perfectly edited video. Thank you.

Love the box card. It’s a little intimidating to do, but I really want to try. ❤

@@joyelleforjesus Thank you so much! These fold flat and fit into a regular envelope. The size that I made fits into a 5x7 envelope.
So, so cute! I think I like Vicky’s dies for making the layers! Great cards as always.
Thank you so much! Yes, these dies are so fun for layers. I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment.
😱😱😱. Wow, these are amazing Alli! Love this card idea and appreciate you showing all the ups and downs in making them.😊. TFS, really enjoyed these, 🙏🤗
Thank you so much, Marcy!
This is so helpful and your cards are beautiful! Why don't the dies come with measurements?

Keep leaving your mistakes in it's "real" and appreciated as we all do the same things. ;-)
Thank you so much! I appreciate this comment, as it's hard to know what some people will like or not like.

Do you think you can use just one stamp to mail these?
