Blue and Line Purple Metro Train In Lahore | Route and Project Details | Sun LO
Metro train transport system in Lahore has been under construction for the last two decades. Three projects including metro bus, orange line and speedo bus have been completed in the last 10 years, but two projects purple and blue line metro train will also be completed now. According to the documents, the Punjab government has for the third time made the feasibility for the purple and blue lines metro train, which will play a new role in the city. According to sources, the Mass Transit Authority has prepared a feasibility report, in total, the mass transit system will be 97.1 kilometers long now, which will also have two new trains. LDA Proposals for mass transit expansion and PC1 have been sent to Punjab government. The Blue Line is 20 km elevated and 4 km underground while it is being constructed up to Johar Town, Gulbarg, Shama, Qurtaba Chowk and Jinnah Hall, it will have 17 elevated and 3 underground stations. Purple Line metro Lahore will have 15.6 km elevated and 3.4 km underground track, 10 elevated and 4 underground stations will be built. This train will run from Data Darbar to Allama Iqbal International Airport. If we talk about metro systems in the city of Lahore, Green Line, Orange Line, Blue Line, Purple Line, BRT One, BRT Two, BRT 3A and BRT 3B are major mass transport systems designed for Lahore map.
