For people commenting about attribute masking being turned off. Yes I play with it turned off, play the game however you want & il do the same. Not once has anyone commented on Rebuilds or my series stuff about me having attribute masking turned off 👍
Most people play fm with masking on so will find this technique very hit and miss, it does explain how you get so many wonder kids in your series though as it makes FM so easy. My Shalke save I now have 24 scouts, 20 of them scouting 2 leagues each, I do this technique but even with my extensive network of scouts and affiliates around the world I still have limited info on a lot of younger players. I like the chase though, makes it more interesting.
It does work with attribute masking as long as you have knowledge of the country. You won't see all of the attributes, but you can scout them for a week
Also, when you go to Attribute search you can click the drop down box and choose the position you are looking for and it will help find players for that particular role 😊That might save time remembering the attributes required for each position. You can then remove any you see fit and lower the numbers that way
Ty for this I found a guy that was potentially pl level (a stc) and I loaned him in from Portsmouth as Barrow in efl league two and I now signed him on a perm deal for 0 upfront and like 8m in add-ons which was under his value! He's already championship level in the efl league two and soon to be efl league one! He might leave for a bigger club like we saw in your youth to gold but thanks again for this Luke!

This will be so helpful to many people, including myself and it works as you said as well. I searched last evening for a ball playing centre back. Didnt find one with the attributes i selected, but it threw up a fantastic 20 year old ball winning midfielder and so i signed him as Casemiro is getting older in my current save. This lad i found is a perfect replacement so it DOES work. Thankyou once again for your time and for your knowledge, it is invaluable to people like me.

I think it's a matter of having a little bit of patience sometimes with development, you won't (often) see a huge amount of change over a short period of time on FM
I was seeing little development after 3 years. People say FM23 has slightly slower development but its not broken. After watching Evidence Based Football Manager, he showed that most of the training routines are quite ineffective, and some of the descriptions are wrong. I used a schedule based on what he said then started seeing player growth. For a TLDR, use the basic routines: Attacking, Defending, alongside 2 Match Practices, then throw in Resistance if you want some physical training. Delivery is the best set piece routine. His weekly schedule was actually quite minimal.
If you can’t wait for tomorrow Zealand usually says keep them at the club until they are 19 at which point you want to loan them out as playing time is more important. But who knows, maybe I’ll learn something new tomorrow
@Adam Colyer 18 not 19 loan at 18 if you can bc 19 is the usual sophomore slump on players so loan them at 18 as they are just starting to understand football at a higher level

i stopped scouting nations and just began to scout Under 23 or lower national teams in the game (1-week scouting). i have 30 scouts and we go through 100 players per week. so every month, i try to add a few hundred players from highlighting the national squads to make sure my scouts are always working around the clock.
But why even scout anything if masking is off? Just search for attributes. I dont know, i use allways masking because scouting is big part of the game. Im not here to judge, just wondering.

It can be done on xbox but your player pool will be smaller you will need to be careful about which nations you pick from the start of a save..as the advanced settings are different from pc to console version's unfortunately..
@@clintrobinson6385 Iv set up quite a few nation the top 5 leagues with Portugal, Brazil, Argentina and Holland added in going down to the second division in each league is that a good enough player pool to be able to find at least a few good wonderkids?

Spot on, constantly asking for more scouts when the option pops up too. Scout 1 week on top nations u21’s and u19’s too which can be a monotonous task but is really effective, do this once a season and you will find a few gems for sure.

I went through a stage on FM21 of scouting every single youth intake by going on World transfers then youth intake, but it’s such a time consuming method and it’s not that much more effective. Although it’s the only way to guarantee you don’t miss any new wonderkids
You showed a player called Matias Sarue from BOCA - I literally have the exact same player on my save who I signed- same DOB (but born in 2011) same name, same position, same face & almost identical stats... wtf - I will have to send it to you on twitter

SI should do something exciting about new gens have former players who have retired become new gens like how PES use to be like have Pele, maradona, Beckham, maldini, ronaldo, ronaldinho etc. As new gens it would be awesome training them up to become world class again.

I would suggest going to clubs slightly bigger than yours a few days after their youth intake. Scout the players that club did not sign. The big clubs often make a mistake or two, so that you can get a potential wonderkid for free just taking PSG or Bayern rejects
Also I’ve just started experimenting with allocating DoF to youth team signings at a lower league save (with my final sign off). It too early to say quite how well this works

@@esapahtela6218 There's the "hidden" attributes that you only discover by scouting. Aspects like injury prone, if they like big matches etc.
