I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it, to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning and imitating. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) SONG FACTS: The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. The song has sad lyrics: “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute. MY THOUGHTS AND OPINION OF THIS SONG (Ref CCC): Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow over time in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth”. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but now is already part of our human lives reality. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. Death is such a peaceful, joyful event in our life, if we die reconciled with God and at peace with others as well. Death is unknown to all of us, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times. Dimash sings in 12 or maybe now more languages and play 7+ musical instruments. And his current vocal range including growl and whistle tone is 7 octaves and three semi tones. But that is summary from Dimash performances, because he by himself never confirmed his vocal range. He don't like talk about that. It's not really a talent show more a showcase for established award winning performers with big fan bases in China. Dimash was brought in as an unknown wild card for this season. The day after this he found himself surrounded by bodyguards, much to his shock, because he had become an overnight sensation.
I heard in an interview that Dimash was only supposed to be on two (2) shows . The producers were looking at inviting Adam Lambert and Sam smith ,. But when the genius of Dimash happened, they faced backlash and decided the shown would be a disaster if Dimash, didn't continue.. I believe this is why he didn't win, because he never was supposed to be there the whole time anyway..

Why?Dimash was invited to TWB because they knew him from the Singer. He asked if he had to compete with children and they said no. It was clear that he didn't speak english and he had signed a non-disclosure agreement and a ban on contact with other participants. He didn't know who the others are, but behind the scenes he met a little girl from his country who told him, she sings too. The third participant was a young pianist from India, who won. Dimash loves children more than anything and was a juror himself in children's competitions and because of his conviction, religion and upbringing, he decided to clear the way for the children and for Daneliya Tuleshova (she was at AGT this year). He didn't want to be an opponent of this talented young girls, he knew personally. But the producers knew that Dimash was the favorite and only saw 🤑 so they were pissed off. The "golden goose" ran away from him, and they already had a lot of commercial plans for him. You probably saw the rest of it. Yes he wanted to quit the show because he didn't want to compete with kids, he wanted to let them go forward, and the judges didn't approve of his decision and treated him horribly for deciding to quit, there is a video of it on youtube if you want to check it out. I felt so bad for Dimash and disgusted at the judges for their behaviour.

He is from Kazakhstan and has been music scholld sens 5 years old and told the teachur that the piano was out of tune! He Sings aboute 6-7 oktaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jass from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and approved to start his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chines singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Kudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Important little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasent really prepared for that. He had come to China att 22 years young man by him self and didn’t knew the language. They hade contracted him for 2 showes becouse they dident think he cold go father than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that. Dimash got many new friends from this show and he saide at some point he learned a lott from it to. Episode 2 :'Opera 2' in Russian! The best moment in this show was just after Dimash started thanking everyone and saw his father there. He didn’t know he was there. Just after they got out of that room Dimash turns to his father and asks if he did good! Then when Dimash was going in to the outher contestents he again turned to his father and asked him if he did OK!!!! "Singer 2017" was a Chinese singing comp, usually reserved for established/professional artists, Dimash was invited as the wildcard, totally unknown to the Chinese audience and his fellow competitors. He was the youngest ever competitor at then 22 yrs old, this was Ep1 and apparently watched by 2 billion people ... overnight success to say the least, the rest is history. I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it, to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning and imitating. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition.
The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living out our day to day life. His hard work for years is indeed bearing good fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a public listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the good content and message of its music.
The fact that, he is able to sing his music at maximum or more than 6 octaves with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said Ooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..? Etc, I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and be surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. I believed that Dimash 21 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proved it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible.
My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it.
With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me.
I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death)
SONG FACTS: The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23.
Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. The song has sad lyrics: “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute.
MY THOUGHTS AND OPINION OF THIS SONG (Ref CCC): Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit.
Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow over time in many aspects of life.
Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life.
It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth”.
Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person.
But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but now is already part of our human lives reality. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain.

Dimash sings in 12 or maybe now more languages and play 7+ musical instruments. And his current vocal range including growl and whistle tone is 7 octaves and three semi tones. But that is summary from Dimash performances, because he by himself never confirmed his vocal range. He don't like talk about that.
Last year he release his first digital music album in China,called "iD",which became platinum only in 37 seconds after releasing and 3x platinum only in one hour! Amazing!

It's not really a talent show more a showcase for established award winning performers with big fan bases in China. Dimash was brought in as an unknown wild card for this season. The day after this he found himself surrounded by bodyguards, much to his shock, because he had become an overnight sensation.
I heard in an interview that Dimash was only supposed to be on two (2) shows . The producers were looking at inviting Adam Lambert and Sam smith ,. But when the genius of Dimash happened, they faced backlash and decided the shown would be a disaster if Dimash, didn't continue..
I believe this is why he didn't win, because he never was supposed to be there the whole time anyway..

It is was a competion with invites onley for the wéll known Chines artists! They put in Dimash as a exxperiment to test out. He had contracts just to 2 showes in the beginning and they told him that he had to get the crowed jump upp or something for him to go to the next show. Becouse the audiens was the ones that woted for there 3 top artist every show to go forward! Dimash showed them how to do that competion in his own way! They hade to change it al after the first show and hade to lett him run the competion to the end. However the roules if I understud them was that NO Chinese singer could win!!! So they hade first to change the competion at ones for him to move forward or they hade al CHinese people on there hands! Secound next year they change the roules so Jessie J won the year after! Welcome to our King Di's world. First of all, thank you for your reaction! The first one, I interrupted, after realizing it was TWB. Why?Dimash was invited to TWB because they knew him from the Singer. He asked if he had to compete with children and they said no. It was clear that he didn't speak english and he had signed a non-disclosure agreement and a ban on contact with other participants. He didn't know who the others are, but behind the scenes he met a little girl from his country who told him, she sings too. The third participant was a young pianist from India, who won. Dimash loves children more than anything and was a juror himself in children's competitions and because of his conviction, religion and upbringing, he decided to clear the way for the children and for Daneliya Tuleshova (she was at AGT this year). He didn't want to be an opponent of this talented young girls, he knew personally. But the producers knew that Dimash was the favorite and only saw 🤑 so they were pissed off. The "golden goose" ran away from him, and they already had a lot of commercial plans for him. You probably saw the rest of it.
About The Singer: Dimash was second, they couldn't give a foreigner first place (political I think) but the fans were so angry and said that. And miracles happen - next year Jessie J won. (btw. look at J.J reaction to Dimash's Hello as a guest 2018) Enjoy more Dimash's songs. Stay save ❣️

Great Reaction! This was the first performance of the first night of the Chinese competition show - The Singer - in 2017. Generally only accomplished Chinese singers could perform. But Dimash had won several contests in Kazakhstan, and was invited to compete as a wild card. No one had any idea who he was, and as it was his first performance, the audience was advised in advance by the producers to applaud and give him a warm welcome to the stage. By the end of the song, they were applauding and cheering for real. He took first place for that night's competition. The next day, he had 600 million hits on Weibo (China’s Instagram)... and the rest, as they say, is history.

Yes he wanted to quit the show because he didn't want to compete with kids, he wanted to let them go forward, and the judges didn't approve of his decision and treated him horribly for deciding to quit, there is a video of it on youtube if you want to check it out. I felt so bad for Dimash and disgusted at the judges for their behaviour.

Singer 2017 show was only for established professional singers who's already popular in China and strictly by invitation. Dimash was the exception here. He was not established in China, he was not popular in China...he was an unknown in China. He was INVITED as an experimental wildcard competitor. One day after this ICONIC PERFORMANCE was broadcasted.....Dimash became a celebrity that needed bodyguards to move around in China. He hasn't looked back since.

Some info about Dimash. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music scholld sens 5 years old and told the teachur that the piano was out of tune! He Sings aboute 6-7 oktaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano kan go! He also writs and compose own songs, playes bunch of instruments including Dombra there own kazakh instrument that has a sound you cant belive! He also sings in aboute 12 languages and speaks 4 so far. He is born in 1994.
Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jass from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and approved to start his PhD.
He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chines singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500.
Dimash Kudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside).
They also got him the nickname "Important little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasent really prepared for that. He had come to China att 22 years young man by him self and didn’t knew the language. They hade contracted him for 2 showes becouse they dident think he cold go father than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that.
Dimash got many new friends from this show and he saide at some point he learned a lott from it to.

The best moment in this show was just after Dimash started thanking everyone and saw his father there. He didn’t know he was there. Just after they got out of that room Dimash turns to his father and asks if he did good! Then when Dimash was going in to the outher contestents he again turned to his father and asked him if he did OK!!!! That’s the kind of man he is humble, loving and respectful.

"Singer 2017" was a Chinese singing comp, usually reserved for established/professional artists, Dimash was invited as the wildcard, totally unknown to the Chinese audience and his fellow competitors. He was the youngest ever competitor at then 22 yrs old, this was Ep1 and apparently watched by 2 billion people ... overnight success to say the least, the rest is history. Btw, yup this was from the first episode of a professional singing competition in China: The singer 2017. Dimas was a willd card contestant amongst the other well known chinese performers, so it was the first time the audiance listened to him. Gained him popularity overnight!
