The spawn rate is 150 seconds divided by your amount of units you produced, so when you get 150 units is one per second and when you have 500 is one per .3 seconds
Sirens are a really good unit, the knock back they get is so severe that enemies can barely step on the board. But the upgraded Medusa's feel like a massive drop in power. Hopefully they are working on balancing A rank units, and they will pay off with the addition of more stages. I think a part of the problem with them is the map expansions just give crap motifs most of the time so even getting the resources by the end of stage 3 takes a lot of RNG.
this game looks so awesome to me! always enjoy your videos, good job! i dont know if you already thought about it, but the costs of building an even more cleaner canvas-productions is only 120 crystals extra. You could put the splitters at the source, get rid of the 8 blue lines (10crystals each?) and only connect 4 teleporter to the inputs of the canvas. I think its worth it, it'd be easier to have more efficient production lines AND would be looking more sexy 🤓
Uour output speed affect opportunity loss, using a base slow splitter to pull units out of canvasses causes loss. Pull out with a fast conveyor instead.
hey sifd, love this series! i think you are using faster conveyer belts wrong and heres my math for why: lets say you are producing something at a rate of 1 per 4 seconds and your conveyer belts move something off of it once every 2 seconds. if you have 5 conveyer belts leading to a portal then itll take 10 seconds. the first thing you are creating will therefore reach the portal in 14 (10+4) seconds the second thing you create will reach the portal in 18 (10+ (4x2)) seconds. etc if you upgrade the conveyers to move one object off it per second (double speed) it would mean that the current object would get there 5 seconds faster, but every other object would still reach the portal every 4 seconds, because they are produced every 4 seconds. faster conveyer belts shoudnt be used everywhere because they dont increase production on everything! the only time faster conveyer belts are useful is to avoid clogging: lets say you are producing something at 4 objects per seconds (with some crazy fast generator scissors) and you have conveyer belts that move 1 object off of them every 2 seconds, and that can only store one object at a time. due to your conveyer belts you will therefore only be able to produce at max one object per second! so make those belts faster!!! but not all belts faster. note i think this only works for producers not consumers u less you use a joiner, this is because you cannot consume faster than you produce (unless you are joining two things up in which case the joiner is the 'producer' in this example). also note that joiners and dividers also have a rate of output (like moving one object off of it every 2 seconds) and therefore no matter how fast ur belts are if they lead to a portal or something thats too slow then faster belts wont help!!! (this also counts if uve got any type of consumer thats just too slow or whatever, you dont need to up the belt speed of somethings that clogged!!) just my maths though hope this helps and doesnt hurt! tldr: i dont think the speed of getting from point A to point B affects the rate at which things are produced
what happened to mages between the demo and the full release? i dont remember them being as bad as they are now. the problem seems to be that theyre not really spreading out. sometimes they spawn in small groups on top of each other which defeats their entire purpose. spreading out the damage in a big aoe. so you end up having one small angle protected, but enemies are getting through everywhere else. i think mages really need a rework. it would be better if they cast something more targeted similar to the lightning bolt that you can craft on the other character.

I think the game doesn't go long enough to scale into the final tier of units,
It just misses motif sources and currency with only 3 chapters.

Whwn you get parallel artefact you could just place canvases next to each other and all splitting system tp to them
