Stats on the compact valve say up to 1-1/2 gallons a minute at "0 to 100 psi" . I just installed it and call b/s on those numbers. Besides, I dont know how id get any water at all at 0psi ? Cheesy little thing, but it works in my application. Cant speak to longevity yet.
I had my fill valve in my skimmer basket, but when the basket got clogged up enough to impede flow, the water level in the basket would drop below the fill valve and it would run. My water level in the pond was fine, but the behind the basket in the skimmer it got a little low. I moved mine out of the basket, but don't like to see it.
what does the other end of. the 1/4" tubing connect to, and do you leave it automatically on all the time? Do you have to install a pressure reducer? thanks!
Where can I get the mounting hardware for the Hudson Valve that is shown in the video?
Great video. I have the 2nd auto fill and the PSI was so strong it would run over the float. MTPG came out and adjusted the pressure.

Do you add a shut off valve feeding the 1/4” fill tube?
You can if you need to cut the pressure back
