I was thinking about removing the seat to clean it because I was having the same issue. Then I went to the car wash and found out that some car washes have those little air guns. I just took the air gun, blew air on the sides, and everything went to the middle of the seat under it. I just vacuumed it up, and that fixed the problem.
I have a 2013. When you slide the seats forward, How do you remove the plastic tabs covering the rear bolts? Nowhere near enough clearance to fit a ratchet. Much appreciated

May I know what is the size of the tools I need?
Do you need to disconnect the battery before removal?
You don't have to, as long as you don't start the car.
Once the seats have gone back in will any light spear in the dash
Cool
Thank you.
