Hi good morning big brother just a FYI the play sheets that you're using is not tick enough . You should use at least a 5/8" sheets and two layers of the fiberglass sheets after curving the corners of the tanks. Do hope this helps. PS: also you should do your plumbing before doing fiberglass. The problem when using fiber glass enclosure for aquaculture, the fishes can only depend of their nutrients on the feeds you provide and you also need to make sure your water filtration is effective. If your filtering system is not properly built, the bacterias in the fiberglass pond from the fishes discharge will make them sick. And for a mud pond, the catfish will get natural nutrients from the mud itself, thats why in japan, their Jumbo koi's are grown in mud ponds. What you could have done is surround your mud pond with a mesh wall so that even in flooded situation, the catfish wont be able to escape because they are still within the mesh wall. Just make sure the wall is higher than the flood.
For the amount of water you need to hold you will be needed the fiber panel to be a bit thick and quite costly, what i would suggest is to use your existing wood frame as the supporting structure, and do the fiberglass in the inside, this will basically water proof the wood frame from the inside and also a supporting structure overall.
Another wonderful video. Great work. Your new plans are not too far off of Aquaponics! If you circulate the fish water through plant grow beds as a means of filtration, then back to the fish tanks, you will optimize production and filtrations. Great work!
