Its amazing how much better this new clear polytunnel has been for the cacti and the flowering Simon :-D its letting in so much more light onto the plants, thank goodness as this June has been so grey so far it would have been so dark with our old green polytunnel, the weather is going to be fantastic for us on the emerald Isle and 20c temps forecast for this coming week and all into next week too, summer has arrived at last haha, thanks so much Simon for your wonderful Friendship and amazing comments and support and for watching, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from Belfast to Dublin for a terrific Tuesday XXXX

Wow, that purple Epiphyllum flower is amazing, a gorgeous colour and absolutely huge! I failed to germinate some Epipyhylum seeds but seeing how yours are flowering I'm tempted to try again, perhaps with some cuttings. Unfortunately I don't have access to a greenhouse or polytunnel and have run out of space indoors, so I'm having to hold back with the larger plants. Which is so frustrating!

It IS Aladdin's Cave, Lyn 😱🙆🏼♀️😍🥳 mercy!! I am in awe! Your collection is exploding with blooming amazing cactus powered gorgeousness!! Its incredible 🎉 congratulations! I can only remember the Pegasus name, bud to bloom yearly video helps me remember. Beautiful color! My little favorite though has got to be that white bloom with the darker center that you also showed at the end. I love that one!! I am so partial to white blooms, even though I love my pinks and purples and reds and yellows 😂 there is a petunia called cafe au lait which the white cactus reminds me of. Hi Lyn!😌🙌Your epiphyllum pegasus is absolutely astonishing😱💞What an amazing bloom and the colour is vibrant😱💞The apricot orange one I love too, and the white with the green sepals is a gem🥰I do have some Echinopsis in bloom now Lyn, I'll show them on my channel. The cacti must be enjoying the heat in your polytunnel for sure by the way your cacti are flowering and budding😌👏🌟Excellent🤲💞

Lovely seeing so many in bloom, looks like your have cracking year . this year not done so bad look possible 4 cacti this year. i think my Mammillaria matudae it flowered but ended early as i potted it up when buds were starting so i guess it flowered the buds what it had but no more so fingers crossed now bigger pot i hope it flower well next year and did not manage to get seeds this time sadly but always another year. i got PARODIA MUTABILIS hook-spined in flower and tried to get seeds from it so just waiting now and a Rebutia fiebrigii i think i got the name right that also in flower, and 4th and hopefully not the last ECHINOCEREUS SUBINERMIS showing signs of 4 buds forming. so far better year and hopefully more. think they liking being moved closer to window and top shelf removed allowing more light from above. who knows now the extra light fingers crossed get more but very happy got 4 so far

Absolutely amazing, Lyn!!!! Let me tell you a secret. Over the years I have been liking cacti more and more just for watching your beautiful collection. Cacti are really fantastic and I have been replacing some of my soft succulents, that I used to prefer, by cacti 🤣 We can't have them all, right? My Epihyllum are also blooming beautifully except for 3 of them. I got them as cuttings 2 years ago, they grew and multiplied stems but no blooms yet. They take same light as the others that bloomed and are getting huge. Any advice as to what I should do? Maybe they would prefer more direct sun but all I can give them is a bit of direct sun at sunset 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thats fantastic you are liking cacti more and more and have been replacing some of your soft succulents with cacti Fernanda :-D and so true we only have room for so many haha, thats wonderful your Epiphyllums are blooming beautiful now too, I think the three you got as cuttings that are growing really well but no blooms yet is due to them getting themselves established as mature plants first before blooming, I have got some big Cuttings that are growing really well but still no buds on them even though they have rooted 3 years ago and have grown lots of new stems, I bet you will see blooms on them in the next couple of years, the direct sun at sunset will still be perfect for them producing buds, thanks so much Fernanda for your wonderful Friendship and amazing comment and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to Portugal from Hans and me for a fantastic Wednesday today XXXX

Oooh, I love seeing all your blooms. Your Epiphyte flowers look sa beautiful. 😍 Love that Neoporteria bloom as well. We are having excessive heat over here. Mammillarias and Thelocactus are blooming. But many of my cacti are starting to snooze 😴 for the summer.
