Very very nice! I think it looks sick! I can't imagine the time and dedication it took to do all of this! Bit props to you Burger! I would've given up barely a quarter of the way through😂😂
@@Unknown_Person0001 thanks Unknown! I aimed for “good enough” instead of perfect so I could keep things moving along. It doesn’t have some of the advanced stuff like solenoids or a spinner (to add real shake and clicks) but it sure is fun to play!
Hi Burger! I immediately had a1000 questions! -Did u really do it yourself?-How long did it take?-How did you come up with the idea?-do u have the proper education? ...and so on😅 Great ! Brilliantly done job 🎉! ...and more...find time to get back into the game.Sure, everyone will be happy!🤩🥳💫💫💫
@@KissmeeboomOops thanks KissmeBoomOops! Yes, did it myself, but I didn’t program the games or anything that hard. I ordered the first part Sep.12 so it took a month and a half. The ideas came from another TH-camr, that video is in the description. I’ve been a computer guy for decades, so no problem with the computer/software part. As for building the cabinet, I just bought wood and gave it a shot. It’s not perfect but I was able to assemble it good enough so that’s it’s fun to play :)
Patience was required to learn the ins and outs of the software and all the settings required. Scratching my head many times trying to solve problems, sometimes only solved by an obscure issue in a table script. And I've only scratched the surface, there are so many ways to expand it (e.g. a dedicated third screen for the dot matrix display, solenoids, motion detection, add-on video packs for each table), but I may just stop here, too much to learn
I'm a bit rusty on that part, but I believe you use B2S_ScreenResIdentifier.exe to tell vpx what goes where (it brings up boxes on the screens that you drag around to the right spot). I remember I had to make sure I was using the latest version of that. And then after doing that under preferences/graphics options set vpx to use cabinet mode.
@BurgerEater289 I appreciate the response. I'm becoming increasingly more interested in building something like this but I'm still trying to understand all of the software components involved.
@@CzarAlex I have Windows 10 that automatically loads PinballX which is my front end menu that scrolls through all the games, and then it's just VPX tables being called up from PinballX. I agree that playing around with them and getting to know them is important. I've recently been through it all, so feel free to ask me any questions as you go, I'll probably know exactly what you are talking about.

Hi great job on your cab! Happy to have inspired you, cheers!
Thanks again Mr. Rimmer for making your wonderful videos! My table only exists because of your efforts :) CYa later alligator

So cool so this is what u meant by building a pinball machine does it require a lot of patience

Buenas noches donde compraste los botones arcade
Amazon :)
Buenas tardes que botones arcades pusiste en pinball
Buenas noches qué botones arcade donde los compraste
How do you tell VPX which screen to use for which part of the display? I'm just starting my (potential) journey in to building something like this.
