I live in NYC and the past few years have taught me to slow down and take care of myself. It's so important! Growing up black, my parents always instilled in me that I had to always be moving and be productive (cleaning the house, taking out the trash) and I see this a lot in other minority groups. It's not lazy to rest. It's part of being human.
Same! I grew up in a PR household and was always taught to be on the go. If you're not working, studying, or cleaning then find something else to do. This year I decided to try to slow down and take time for myself. I'm still learning how to do it lol but I'm glad I decided to finally try.
I think I understand, same with my mum (Czech Republic here). But while watching these videos I realize there can be done a lot and still not rush. This lady is calm,methodical, and still manages to cook,clean and probably work as well. I would like to achieve that. But I also think that it is different living on your own and having larger household,esp. With kids.
I lived some of the best days of my life when I was single and living alone in my younger years. Those times feel very precious to me and watching Nami brings back so many memories of the daily and nightly rituals I would follow.

I miss this quiet peaceful life. Now I have a toddler and I can never finish a meal in peace let alone make a meal for myself that I love. Theres screaming and crying everyday and I'm so sick of it. I wish I could go back to the single life sometimes. Where I had time to myself and I focused on myself. Videos like these make me hopeful but sad.

A lot of Japanese (and Korean) culture is brand new to me, so I always learn things! And I find it very soothing to watch as well, with music at a very low volume in the background so it does not intrude.
I just discovered your channel and I love your videos. They are so different from many other vlogs. So interesting to see daily life in Japan as I live in Canada. I liked how organized, neat and tidy you keep your small living space and found it interesting to see all the space-saving items you have.

I miss this quiet peaceful life. Now I have a toddler and I can never finish a meal in peace let alone make a meal for myself that I love. Theres screaming and crying everyday and I'm so sick of it. I wish I could go back to the single life sometimes. Where I had time to myself and I focused on myself. Videos like these make me hopeful but sad.
