I am Brazilian: imagine how the heavy and fast sound of the guitar solo from 3:35 in 1969, January was not revolutionary. No one had seen anything like that.
I am English and was living in Rio in 1969 when this song came out so scores of my Brazilian friends were asking me to translate the lyrics for them. Unforgettable times Brasil 🇧🇷 vive no meu coração

This is such a great and unique song. I didn't appreciate it when I was a little girl as it didn't interest me then but I sure can appreciate it now. There has never been and never will be a rock group quite like this one. Their sounds are unique and put you in a trance. This song is one of my favorites that they do.
Yes it is so unique that they plagiarised it from Dazed and confused by Jake Holms. Led Zep was one of the most prolific song stealing bands ever known.
Saw them 3 times, '70, '75, '77....first time when I was 13....it has been a life long affair....they were truly the best...no one compared...never have 4 incomparable musicians joined in one group...they were individually the best of the best, and remarkably put out the best catalogue of rock ever. We have been blessed to know such greatness.
Nope. The Beatles put out the best catalogue of rock ever. And they did it all in 7 1/2 years. Zeppelin lost it after 'Physical Graffiti' and the great Earls Court shows in '75. 'Presence' and 'In Through the Out Door' were sub-par, and on the final 1977 US tour, Page was so wacked on heroin that he often played out-of-tune on many nights.
it was about 3 bucks and your girl would suck your dick because you took her to zep. you would then thank her and sleep in that nasty camper. I'm a 92 so I remember the taste before this lgbtq blm atom bomb

Listening to this makes me fall in love with Zep even more. They incorporated indian "sa re ga ma pa da ni sa" into the guitar riffs almost exactly the way it is taught to young indian kids. Makes me nostalgic.
When I was a young teen back in the 1970's, I had a friend who commented he didn't like guitar, bass, drum bands because their sounds were so limited. I immediately took him to my stereo, put headphones on his ears and played this track. Mind blown. Looking at his face was like watching the Church at the first Pentecost. Instant conversion!
My dad always had this as his alarm everytime he had to go to work. Everytime it played it gave me some haunting, but really awesome vibes. He's the sole reason I even know about Led Zeppelin and so many other rock bands

@@kirkmcgee1 amazing talent for that age.
Unforgettable times
Brasil 🇧🇷 vive no meu coração
4:57 that fill gives me chills everytime..
Thats a typical drum solo
Greatest rock band of all time
Jake Holmes wrote it. The Yardbirds covered it. But Led Zeppelin OWNED it.
No where near Jake Holmes version
Jake Holmes 10% of The Song, the rest is original Led Zeppelin!!
But didn't all these guys play together in the London area? It's a mix of minds.
That's ok... But they don't said nothing... It's shameful.
"owned" it? I think you meant stole it
bonzo's drumming from 4:57 to the end will always be my most favorite quality of this song
There’s a iso drum track to dazed and confused

Those few seconds from 4:56 to 5:08 where Bonham plays the greatest drum solo ever heard and than Page plays paranoid a year before black sabbath released paranoid is honestly one of the greatest moments in music history
"Here's to the calming magic of this music, a gentle balm for the heart. 🌸🎵"
4:45, that one guitar note makes the whole song. Frantic!
My favorite line , " soul of a woman was created below " I can really relate to this song .
My mom’s favorite band. I love you so much mom. RIP

I have listen to this song thousands of times, pick out what ever drums, bass, guitar, vocals so many levels of genius, no one can ever grow tired of this song.

When my parents were gone for the day, this was the album I would crank over the stereo system and rock out to in the living room.
The female rage unleashing in me on each listen
Это не ярость. Это - дурость и отсутствие вибратора по размеру
60 years on and here I am, 21 years old, getting stoned and listening to Zeppelin. They were fucking gods man
57 getting stoned currently retired ....only seen Plant live in Jones Beach.
53 and the stone just kicked in laid off but ENJOYING the time off
You were raised right...as were my sons.
18 Years old getting stoned, playing this on my guitar thinking about the girl I associate this song with... Good times.

Everytime I pick up my bass and play this bassline I get chills by how deep it hits with just a few notes Zeppelin definitely knew what they were doing when they created this

Eles não criaram essa música!
This is such a great and unique song. I didn't appreciate it when I was a little girl as it didn't interest me then but I sure can appreciate it now. There has never been and never will be a rock group quite like this one. Their sounds are unique and put you in a trance. This song is one of my favorites that they do.
Absolutely! It just hit different and they always leaves you with beautiful emotions❤️ What other songs do make merry your heart?
Yes it is so unique that they plagiarised it from Dazed and confused by Jake Holms. Led Zep was one of the most prolific song stealing bands ever known.
LED ZEPPELIN FOREVER! LONG LIVE LED ZEPPELIN!
This song is definitely the most fantastic émotion loaded pure rock Masterpiece. Plant's voice erupting stronger than a volcano. Best band ever.
3 times! You lucky bastard.
So this just got randomly got recommended and
*holy shit this was a EXPERIENCE*
I been listening to Led Zep since I was a young teenager .... more than 50 years and counting ! 🎶🎸🥁😎
A masterpiece. I notice new things each time I listen.

Listening to this makes me fall in love with Zep even more. They incorporated indian "sa re ga ma pa da ni sa" into the guitar riffs almost exactly the way it is taught to young indian kids. Makes me nostalgic.

Interesting never knew that.
My FAVORITE group of all time playing my FAVORITE song of all time!!!
Too bad it’s the short version 😢
When I was a young teen back in the 1970's, I had a friend who commented he didn't like guitar, bass, drum bands because their sounds were so limited. I immediately took him to my stereo, put headphones on his ears and played this track. Mind blown. Looking at his face was like watching the Church at the first Pentecost. Instant conversion!
Posting during Dazed & Confused...just NOTHING like this had ever been done before. THEE best rock band of all time. There is no comparison.
I like a lot drums in this masterpiece.
The drummer was the legendary John Bonham .........RIP ........The greatest of all time ...LEGEND
I too like a lot drums
My dad always had this as his alarm everytime he had to go to work. Everytime it played it gave me some haunting, but really awesome vibes. He's the sole reason I even know about Led Zeppelin and so many other rock bands
The solo blows this f****** song away holy f****** s*** how is that even possible

the first time I heard the transition at 1:12 I immediately understood every positive opinion anyone has ever had on this band
The drummer is sooooo sick
John Bonham, yes.
I've never been the greatest fan of classic rock, but for the love of Kos...this song is rock and roll like I have never heard...to think that this was one of the songs they rocked the world with from the beginning, I couldn't imagine witnessing this live for the first time! Brilliance!
