That Santa Fe Compact 70 dehumidifier should’ve been raised much higher and drained into the sump pump with a p-trap drain loop.

Whenever I solder unions now I put pipe dope on it while soldering this way the solder won’t hit the threads even if it drips works really well. Been there way too many times

Steve I'm only 24 and I learned how to solder copper pipe and I love it 😊 I'm not a press fan eithier nor high efficiency stuff the high efficiency stuff tends to break more

Individual sued the manufacturer. And the manufacturer turned around in California law said and they blame it on the consumer for product tampering and she complained really loudly Nathan Nathan turned around had her side of the harassment and food in jail they had to go through all the procedure in jail got released in the meantime the company still in business still selling defective product that it shouldn't be selling not what the boiler that you saw in the service called you went to

@@stevenlavimoniere all those I learned and had to unlearn in the union pipe-fitter union as an apprentice. I brought this up to a mechanical engineer I worked for and he scoffed at it. ‘Your right kid, with that low of a flow rate it should take more than about 300 years”. He took me to Babcock and Wilcox where I sat in the back of the meeting room where they told him the (newly formed) EPA told them they needed a waste water treatment plant to process an unimaginable amount of gallons of water an hour and he just looked at them and told them that was not possible. Why they asked and he proceeded to explain to them all the water lines and meters serving the plant could not carry that amount of water and hour. Afterwords I spent most of the summer running down whereby feed line and meter, documenting the size of line and meter where it showed that most of the meters were not using to correct multiplier. In the end Babcock and Wilcox received a huge refund and the treatment plant ended up being barely half of what they claimed it needed to be. Asa 19 year old new by I couldn’t fathom that the water utility could be so wrong. That the union apprenticeship program was wrong.
