I can still remember setting up a baracade wall, then haveing someone in my own team blast a hole in it becouse they couldnt be botherd to go though the team spawn. Good times.

It’s late 2005, and it’s Friday night. My mom got us Pizza Hut pepperoni pizza with stuffed crust. Another game of casual castle wars, the fun never ends. Until one day it does. I miss those days because of the innocence that was in my life, the way that I could wake up care-free and hang out with my friends in the neighborhood and play some RuneScape, Halo, or ride on our bikes. The innocence is no longer there and neither are my friends. I don’t wish to go back to those days, but I do wish I could re-live them in a sense. It’s just that my childhood was ripped away from me and this is one of those nostalgic tunes that reminds me of innocent days.

I remember when one of the guys on my team was hauling ass on the underground with the flag. I set up a barricade at the end of the rocks and stood on it. When the guy came by, I blocked him and killed him (along with the chasers of the other team) with my rune pickaxe. I picked up the flag and took it home so we can score. Not gonna lie, I was a major dick because it was funny as hell to kill my own teammates. That was the best fun I ever had, especially when the guys on my time got so freaking pissed off. Eventually I recognized some people on the underground level and they switched times and started attacking me everytime I showed up but I wised up and got back on their team before they noticed.
looking back at my time realistically, I didn't play castle wars that much. but I do have some of my fondest memories of it. nothing quite liking having your first skill breach level 90 and the moment you're told that it's not even half way

i loved fighting other people in this game mode, i brought like 14 different weapons and armor with me to show off how rich i was lol, everyone wanted to attack me
There was always this lvl 126 guy wearing torags and obby cap just running around with our flag and everyone would follow him so we wouldn't lose our own flag then we'd just win easy
I was always underleveled with trash gear but I would wait until someone grabbed our flag and died so I could grab it before it returned and run out to the stepping stones.
Going in there at combat level 25 and blowing the walls the fuck up in the underground caverns so you can oneshot level 110s enemy players and feel powerful
