I can't understand the fact that she chased after him for 5 years. I think it is unreasonable to chase after someone like that because you need to know about boundaries. If someone reject you so many times, you need to know the boundaries and respect their choices. Both men and women alike, everyone should not be clingy and always chase after someone like a leach without thinking about boundaries.
I agree 💯. It's that dedicated love trope that been in romance novels for ages. The guy/girl that shows their love and everyone goes oh look at how much and far they're going for love. It ends up depending on the genre: the creep or the romantic lead for the object of interest. But honestly it's both disturbing and odd if you think about it. YA novel has it as its the kinda drama that's there and people like. So it pervasive among people and those who are too young who don't know life and love management yet. Sry for the word vomit I love these as it's like the toxic junk food of romance world.
I had a neighbor who had his first child at 15, when he turned 60 he has 10 children by different women! Some men and women, think of it as a game? Badge of honor? Love fogged brain? To have many partners and children.

Ew! I blame Emma for getting involve in a man that didn't set boundaries with his half-sister who should have had those boundaries set by their parents, and I also blame Peter for literally letting his love for his sister turn into a serious case of incest. 🤮
@@gehtdichnixan8561 Thinking about it, the one that’s adopted would be the “adopted sibling” and the one related to the adoptive parents might be the “adoptive sibling” , but “step siblings” might work too. But both options still doesn’t sound quite right.
@@extremenugget1346Well, "adoptive siblings" are always step-siblings. Step-siblings, however, aren't necessarily "adoptive siblings". E.g., if 2 single parents hit it off and marry, their children will be step siblings; whether, or not, the parents decide to adopt the child of their respective partner, doesn't change that part of the terminology. However, such a cross-adoption would add the "adoptive siblings"-title. If parents decide to "import" a sibling and adopt a child from an orphanage, the kids will be step-, and adoptive siblings. The term "adopted sibling" is artifical though (atleast in western cultures, dunno abt eastern/southern ones) since "we" don't have a legal institute of "sibling-adoption". Adoption means "declaration of legal responsibility"; in the western hemisphere, the ONLY legal relationship that can be "declared" is parenthood (since only parents are legally responsible for their children (and, in some cases, the other way around; e.g., if the parents get old and need care, their children are legally obliged to help, be it by doing the care themselves, are by paying a caretaker); siblings aren't responsible for each other (other than morally)). In all honesty though: The only relevant aspect to all of this is potential incest - and that term solely applies to full or half-siblings since it requires blood ties.

Nicely put. It's hard (or rather, impossible) to sympathize with an MC who is a mentally deranged, creepy stalker.
A man without honor and loyalty shouldn't have children.

This is sad on so many levels
A little warning about incest….
You sure it’s not half sister but foster sister?
Step-sister. She was adopted after all
I think step-siblings are siblings gained through a parents marriage, I’m not sure what to call them if one of the children is adopted.
