Yay, another Taurus NNoder! I'm a Scorpio (Sun/Pluto/Juno conj. SN exact). It sounds crazy, but all my life, all I wanted to be was Normal. Had a difficult childhood, and definitely thought about joining a convent as a teen. Throughout my life, I have had difficulty with authority, including my own Taurus mom. I also avoided accumulating material possessions because I saw them as temporal things of little spiritual value. Of course, the real reason was that I didn't value my own Earthly existence. Working on that these days.

I think with the south node in scorpio, it can also manifest as not allowing yourself to trust or depend on anyone or anything (as opposed to relying on people too much), which causes a lot of paranoia and disconnection. I certainly see this in myself, not allowing myself to trust or depend on others, and feeling guilty if I depend on someone to get certain needs met
Yes yes yes to all of this! I just talked to my friend about it: whenever I receive something from others, or ask somebody else do do something for me, I know it always comes with a catch, naming it's price. Be it something physical in return, or just a favour in return. It never feels unconditional, even with my parents. Yes, constantly questioning other's intentions and motivations towards me, is exhausting and borders paranoia. 😅 The unfortunate thing is that I'm right most of the time, but then again I thus create my own self fulfilling prophecy. So in conclusion, I cannot stop connecting to others on a psychic/emotional level, to monitor them or to intervene. Someone else said that their motto is "not my circus not my monkeys" and thank God I'm on my way to implement this more and more into my life.
I experienced this as well and didn't get married until 35 and it has taken a fair amount of inner work to learn to rely on my husband emotionally and mentally.
Yes!! Trust is a big issue for me been engaged 6 times and divorced 3 and have trouble keeping friends as well.
I have this placement too. My favorite motto has become "Not by circus, not my monkeys". It helps me to stay out of other peoples business. Thanks for the insights. The more I dig into this placement the more I realize why I do the things I do. It's so interesting.

I have this placement as well as Saturn and Pluto in Scorpio. It's so hard to stay out of drama because drama just seems to attract me. I feel like the only way I can get away from it is to keep to myself and not allow a lot of people into my space.

This is amazing I have Taurus north node in second my dad was very successful and a Taurus so always provided for me which left me not independent I then married a Scorpio who again is all about his own career and left me not independent. I really am ready to push myself to be independent now because I’ve had power struggles with these situations where I’ve just been used as a supporting act I’ve recognised it now and I’m hoping I can turn it around and start to be more independent
I hear you. I have the same situation, I struggle with financial independence although I hate depending on others. Not having any Taurus in my chart made it an uneasy path too 😞

This was really helpful. I have a Taurus North Node and all of these struggles are true for me! I have finally become independent and am well on my way to building wealth (I think my Capricorn Sun helps with the work ethic), but I still deny myself plenty of things that I should have without question and need to allow myself the opportunity enjoy all that I have worked for. I will spend more time on that moving into our nodal return!

This feels right, sensory pleasures and beauty. This is my North Node placement. Things like cleaning my house, proper exercise (though my Moon in Aries might lend me towards athleticism) or going for luxurious clothing and bedding (i keep spending on knowledge and spiritual tools) have been things i neglected.
Now that you mention it, gardening has been on my mind too, it aligns with my core Earth element in chinese astrology and the nurturing side of my Sun in Cancer. Sex is tricky, since i have gender identity problems to go through and heal from.
You have a calming voice, by the way. Helps me feel grounded (Gemini Rising here heh)

This resonates so much it’s scary😮 I do not have an attachment to material things (and yes it’s so hard to take care of them I easily throw away things as well lol) and I am more interested in people in psychology (this is why I am learning astrology as well)
I am dependent on my husband financially (I have two little kids so it is very hard for me to work as well) but I am also really bad with money… so I do side jobs to help pay the bills.
When I was younger I actually did use my sexuality and appealing nature to make a living(I have a Libra rising so that helps a lot😂) and often times I would find myself in the midst of drama😅 so yeah my life has been very Scorpionic.
Not to mention my own father being a Scorpio🤣
I also have Pluto and Saturn in Scorpio (along with my south node) in the first house… so looks like I have a lot of karmic debts to pay😂
Oh and generally I find Tauruses to be very boring… but I am almost jealous of them because they seem so peaceful🧐 I know I need to find stability and peace and I am working on it but it is soooo hard😭

Thank you for this video! Everything is happening, word for word. I’m about to end up relying on my family because they were smarter with money / make more money. I’m afraid I can’t earn enough to be independent. But I really want to. I’m paid very low at my current job. Also I need to take care of my health :( I’ve been working for so long though (I finally became a bit more self-reliant) but I’m tired physically, mentally, emotionally. And I’m only 35. I tried to do it all on my own and things didn’t work out how I’d planned.

I have this placement. Im a cappy sun sage ascendant, with taurus North node and Scorpio in the south. It's all true. Other people had power over me in my family, from a very young age influenced my decisions in a way that got me broke, and heavily dependent on others. I'm an artist and at the moment working hard at establishing my financial independence first and foremost. It's probably what the taurus North node s been trying to teach me. I also feel I was into magic in a past life, I felt drawn to it even as a kid. Other kids would play with toy cars and dolls, and I was like I wanna do magic, I need some stones :))) not kidding. Also I found myself entrenched in other people's dramas because i know instinctively what's in their head and can translate better their own motivations back to them.

North node Taurus 7th house and I have no planets in this house in my birth chart which means this lifetime it’s all about relationships, not just intimate ones. South node scorpio in 1st house, so comfortable being alone doing things independently and all things occult. Now I see why I’m so good at it. Aiming toward Taurus. Thank you.

I was never severely sucked into SN, until about 12 years ago…things just became wack! The past 2-3 years have been much more transformative. Particularly in the last year with a season of loss of 5 within a period of 4 months.. Uncle, best friend (like a brother), client, sisters then, beloved mother. None covid related…So much more clarity. Relations with remaining family, nearly none existent. All north node related over years. NOW, supremely revalidated over past year. I have always felt as though I was born into the ABSOLUTE, wrong family. I am/have always felt SO MUCH MORE enlightened, aware, present on a multitude of levels.

I am just curious astrologically speaking. I also discovered my boyfriend has Scorpio North Node and Taurus South Node. We are older (56 and 63) and each done a lot of inner work. What do you think are the pros and cons of that in fulfilling our North Nodes. We both seem to be working toward that without really being aware of our astrological orientation.

Awesome video thank you. Most definitely still working on escaping the Scorpio traits. I'm a total lush, I love luxury, massages, decadent foods, soft sensuous fabrics. However, my money has gone up and down like a yoyo so often don't have the means to live the way I want. I also don't look after myself as well as I could. Totally self-sabotage (less as the years have gone on). Work in progress for sure. My moon is in Taurus as well and my Neptune is in Scorpio. So many lessons, so many insights. I have been heavily identified as my Scorpio South node without realizing. I have a cancer sun/moon so all my life it was just incredibly easy being sensitive and spiritual and denying material things and genuinely having 0 interests in that stuff. but i realized that i always hit a wall with that stuff. like i’ve already done it so there’s nothing else to it. I’m scared of my body, being human and taking care of myself, n i’m scared of the physical world. But i’m going to try and focus on following my Taurus north node.

When I was little I couldn't or want to do anything for myself. Later in life (after my first Saturn return) I wised up and became really independent. I realised that I had myself to rely upon when things got hard. Your description of this placement is really excellent!

I have this placement with south node in Scorpio in the 2nd house conjunct Saturn in Scorpio. I have north node in the 8th house conjunct the moon(and very widely, 9 degrees if it counts) conjunct Venus in Taurus. Odd enough I always wonder if north node conjunct the midheaven ruler and south node conjunct the 4th house ruler gives me a north node in the tenth and south node in the 4th type chart.

Then you're the same as me! North Node Taurus in the 8th and almost everything will apply to you specifically. Pay attention to the financial side since the 2nd / 8th axis is all about money and resources. If you have financial entanglements work to get free of those - especially in your relationships. Get out of any situations where the person is using money or what they have to try to control you. Any situations where you or the other person are dependent, any relationships where one person is giving too much - see if you can balance this out.
