As an overhaul main, i get your preference is using his beta but if you want to play overhaul to his best. You need his gamma to be at least level 4 I could make a whole list on why it's useful but i'll simply summarize it 1) when leveled up it's range is incredibly wide as you saw in the first match where you lost to that overhaul 2) after stunning an opponent with it (that's if it connects) you can combo it into an alpha, a beta or another gamma(at level 4 you get two gamma charges) The combo that does the most damage is the gamma into gamma(tho you might want to keep that second gamma charge for another stun) The gamma into beta combo does the second best damage tho you need to have insane aim on the target to pull it off 3) this doesn't have anything to do with his gamma combo but i thought i'll just add it When being comboed, overhaul's special action allows you to knock the person back (we're talking dabi hugs, bakugo's howitzer impact, melee combo attacks,twice gamma combo, shiggy's grab, ibara grab, basically anything close enough to him. He can knock them back in the process of the action) and it only uses one charge of your special action meaning you can use the other charge to heal your self and take on your weakened opponent at full strength I'm sorry for my summarization being so long😅(mom was right i really should become a lawyer 🤣), just thought i'd give some tips to a fellow overhaul player😁 Hope you find them useful...
