Exploring Midhurst Castle & The Cowdray Estate

It was sooo nice to catch up with my school friend, James, who I haven't seen since the summer of lockdown. If you've been here a while then you may recognise him from a previous clip in one of my vlogs where we went for a picnic at Petworth Park and had a catch up!. It was so nice to explore a different part of West Sussex, since Midhurst is only 20 minutes down the road from Chichester (unless there's a road diversion like there was today and it took over an hour down tiny country roads which is not fun when you're a nervous driver 😩) James took me to his favourite local place called Cowdray Farm Shop, and sadly the restaurant / cafe area was closed but they usually have amazing wood fired pizza which i'll definitely be making another journey for when they open again. There was a little hut serving coffee, teas and some snacks so we grabbed a bacon roll and went for a walk and a catch up!
Not sure if I mentioned it in the vlog but James and I met at Hurtwood House, a 6th form school in Surrey way back in 2009 aged 15 and we lived in the same boarding house. We've seen each other through lots of highs and lows and i'm glad we reconnected during lockdown! When I left to go to RADA after school, he went on to study at Cambridge University and MTA for musical theatre!
