real talk, finally a better use of the 'exe' horror genre and taking it somewhere further/expanding the topic on a deeper level than just "teehee but what if plumber man and blue furry was evil?"
I agree, when I heard the word ".exe" for this story, I was starting to have doubts about this since sonic.exe rotted my brain so much to the point I only think of him first whenever I hear the word .exe and made me think it was just gonna be another one of "those" stories. But after listening to this story, this is a masterpiece right here, and a better take on the whole exe genre, it's quite refreshing honestly.
Short story with an ending I didn't expect. An accurate portrait of grief. Glad the author didn't feel the need to drag on the story to get the point across.
Wow... A story that actually has a true honest to God happy-ish ending instead of an ending that makes me hate being alive. I cried. Im so so so glad to have listened to this in order to cleanse my pallette after all the death mayhem and miserable endings Ive indulged in over the past few days. Thank you so much. Im not crying. There's something in my eye. That's why this liquid is falling from the corner of my orbital socket.
Fell asleep the first time so I’m back again for a listen. Grief can be so devastating sometimes. Missing your loved ones so desperately. I sympathize with the main character.. I been there you can’t even fathom the pain. Every day the pain. As time goes by you get stronger and more confident in yourself. It takes time to recover and heal from trauma. I’m grown and I hate learning activities because dealing with ppl is hard because ppl suck eggs man. They suck so bad.
I honestly bawled in the ending. And I'm STILL crying. Those onion ninjas are fast man ;-; This story is so beautiful, yet also bittersweet, and it made me think about my own experiences with grief. The idea of loss and trauma in this one just hit straight home for me. I needed this today. Thank you so much for making this video :)
This is my absolute favorite story. I love her, but this was refreshing. It’s a beautiful story, but what really brings home. The horror element, is a childhood fear that is common with many of us growing up. The prospect of losing our parents, especially for those of us who were not popular. Great job!
As someone who has lost both my parents, this made me cry both for the boy and the grandparents who just wanted to love him. So happy that it had a happy ending. ❤ Thank you for sharing it with us!
Wow what an amazing story! This is truly your gift! The voice, narration, video, theme, etc. comes in a million times over on TH-cam, but your message delivered is amazingly unique and permanent! The pain in this story is REAL but the outcome is what completely got me! Today, so many "wants to end their pain" but in this case especially...it would have been the worst...totally love it! All of it
Love to see a new upload! You do such a good job, always. I hope you know how much people enjoy your narrations, and how many people you’ve helped get through difficult times because of your stories and your voice.
I thought this story was going to go in a couple different directions as it progressed. But I like the ending of this one. It put a smile on my face to see where it ended up after all was said and done. Thanks for this amazing tale of loss, heart break, and refound happiness. ❤😮
I cried.. I was just trying to sleep but this broke my heart in a very kind way. I'm happy for him even though he was real as much as the parents in the game for the boy. Thank you for sharing & voicing it
You know, I don't go into these videos expecting to be crying by the end, this was a great story and I love that it has a good ending and hopefully a sign of healing to come
As someone who constantly struggles with depression and even had such thoughts, I was really scared near the ending. The ending was so beautiful tho, it was such a relief ✨
I expected this one to end with the kid being sucked into the game or his grandparents trying to kill while being under the games control, great ending!
Man, fr thought the parents in the game were about to come out and jump him to "send him to heaven", still, great story, better than what I thought was gonna happen, honestly
Damn I need this game. Same situation. Parents gone at once without a goodbye. Didn’t have my grandparents to go to cause they were killed in the same manner, a car accident.
Bro I came here to be scared not to cry tf, good story
What's with all the sad depressing stories lately. I'm haven't heard a good story full of monsters and blood and guts in months.
@@raymondfilyau7500 grief and sorrow can be the worst type of horror

short?
I wouldn't call this short. I'd say at the most, 15 minutes would be considered short.
The ending was so bittersweet but it's scary to think if the grandparents didn't try to throw him a bday. They would of find him dead on the floor 😢
I know I was thinking please do not kill yourself.
i think its accurate to life. often a kind gesture or two really can make the difference to give someone something to hold on to in dark times
Sometimes it's the smallest act of kindness that can save a person's life
Would have found*
I know find was probably a typo though.
@@xXJLNINJAXx lol thanks my bad

Couldn't have said it better myself
It was unexpected and nice for a change to have a good ending. I needed that today! Thank you and as always your narration was superb.
Agreed.
