Lots of people will need hugs after this one. 😆 Finally snagged Shoot to Kill, fantastic. They have such a great sound...I'm not a musician so it is hard to describe. Something about the guitar tone and the clear production makes them my favorite "sounding" band; even on the lesser albums where the songs aren't as strong I still love listening to them. Hope that made a little sense. Great video, Trevor!

Canada?!?!?! Poprava is from Czechia. In light of the themes of these bands you not recalling may result in the law of unintended consequences. Steel Centurion opens W.A.R. with that awesome riff sending aural frags through your body. Then the song slows to mid-pace setting the stage for the rest of the album. Apt descriptions for the rest of the DF albums. They're definitely violent and angry. Raborym, Necro, and Diathyrron play together for the only time as a band on Ohtar' Deep Woods. That demo is excellent. I own the tape, but if I had a record player I'd definitely buy the album. Raborym and Diathyrron also played with Capricornus in Thor's Hammer. The Capricornus influence is partly where the Dark Fury is derived. Excellent discussion of the Dark Fury albums overall. I'll have to buy their new album.

I would've gone deeper into line-ups and descriptions overall, but I was on lunch break, so I had to cram everything into a 30-minute session. I definitely need to pick up more Ohtar. Fond of everything they've released, yet I own just that split and the "Emptiness" full-length. New Dark Fury album is excellent. Another gem with high replay value. Thanks for watching, man.
