This is really cute. Definitely will be making a few. I watched you put the paint in the cups, byt what i do to save on supplies, I save all my lifs and use them for paints. (Yogurt, butter, Iced Tea powders and other plastic lids) Then i use them for paints to save supplies. Just a suggestion.
Hi .. fish eyes may be because of an un-level turner which may cause divets/fisheyes in the epoxy. Check to ensure your turner is not shaky or wobbly and is level. Also, before applying your first layer of epoxy, seal the tumbler with clear matte spray paint. This will ensure the epoxy adheres well to the tumbler.

I have a question - I sand, clean, and paint my tumbler. My question is why do I get a lot of fish eyes on my tumblers?
