I saw Silence this weekend and I walked past a theater that had just finished showing Monster Trucks. I caught roughly three different groups of little kids and their parents or grandparents walking out. The kids looked superficially entertained and were posing for pictures in front of the cardboard promo stand for the movie. The adults all just looked really fucking tired. This one mom was clearly wondering how her life reached this point.

I think that most people that ask Double Toasted to review movies like Monster Trucks know they are bad movies and just want the Double Toasted crew to destroy the movie in a hilarious and entertaining way. That seems to be the best use for movies like this that I can think of.

let me ask you this who ever asked for all those hit movies over the years? If movies are about only doing things what the audience wants the it will only be a the same movie over and over again. And that is already happening. I honestly enjoyed this movie because its stupid, it made me forget about all our problems in life and I don't put reality in any of the movie I watch unless that is the theme of the movie.
