- HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL MY VIEWERS! Never would have received a refund without you guys. Sorry I had to take down the last two videos explaining every detail of the scam. That's what I get for trusting han Tony in the first place. But I had to play his game to get my money back. Hope you guys understand.
Hopefully this will be my final video of this scam refund situation - But he may get all mad and give me more juicy content. Hopefully he just accepts that he got caught and moves on with life.

Congratulations on your success! In my situation I lost money, but if my Chinese seller had been honest I would have sold at least 500 of their electric disability scooter in the first year. But like yours, they forget that what they do wrong has karma. I travel all over the world with this scooter and when asked where to get one I just say it is a prototype. I will never knowingly support them.
Next time, use a credit card. Many credit cards provide "insurance" allowing cardholders to get the money back when scammed.

Glad you got most of your money back, I tend to shy away from Chinese suppliers anyway, but I do run a BBSHD on my commuter bike with an ASI BAC 855 72 volt controller. ( Sorry to tell you but it will outrun the stock scam bike you received ) . Good luck and show us what you plan on doing with the deathtraphe sent you!

I still can't believe you engaged with him over the course of so many months, and that many emails. The demands for payment and changing of terms would be enough to send me running for the hills. The email exchange reads like its straight out of the Nigerian bank fraud scam playbook. You are very lucky indeed to have recovered your losses.

This is how CEOs of major companies have to deal with doing business with chinese companies in general. You have to have a binding contract that invokes large penalties for each side if the contract is broken. How you invoke penalties against a foreign business in a foreign country varies a lot, but you have to construct some kind of leverage in the contract. It is a pain, and seems a bit rude, but they will change everything to the nth degree if you don't.
Just pretend you are buying a product from someone you absolutely don't trust, because you are an individual, not a company, and therefore less important to them. It helps to be a company, due to the mindset. If an individual complains about quality....it is not important. If a company complains....they will listen if it is big enough to be checked out on the web.....and look at how much business you do. At least you had social media as leverage, which was a game changer. Nice.
Keep in mind, a lot of chinese companies have changed their early ways to be much more friendlier because it pays well to do so.
Just remember rule of acquisition #99 - "Trust is the biggest liability of all."
and of course, #181- "Not even dishonesty can tarnish the shine of profit."

I’m glad you got some of your money back. In fact I am very surprised! But just listening to you talk about how gullible you are (without you even realizing it still!) and your not understanding that YOU are the reason why scammers exist is insanely frustrating. The person I feel most sorry for is your dad. Right now he is realizing what an ill-prepared human he raised and how he failed you as a father.
This is why my purchases are in person. I took a road trip and a half to pick up my g70 even though the dealership said they would deliver it. I trust no one.

Please always consult with your friend who knows Chinese language, or even the owner of your local Chinese restaurant would give life-saving advice when you decide to buy a big-price thing from ML China.

Bro, been scammed many times by the same person i just let it go. Took all what I got. From car and everything that I saved was in the car. All I asked was return my family album. And nothing was returned. A lesson learned.

I think if you wanna do an electric sports car type of deal, buy an older sports car like a MR2 or Miata something small but workable and convert it to electric. They updated the business registration under new name in Sep. Guess it is due to this exposure.
Though Alibaba removed the ads, they still appear in other sites from where you will find Xpeng P7 like EV for $20K which supposed to cost $35K+ in China even after government rebate. Hope no more victim.
The best way, and probably the only way a purchase like this should be made is to put the money into an escrow account, then they get their money only after inspection of shipment, and they have fulfilled the details of the purchase contract. Legit companies will agree to this, and probably have done it this way before.
He will just open another account in a different name. People like that need investigating by their own local Police. If he can afford to send you the wrong car, and refund you, then maybe he has already ripped off countless others.

Hum... This might be a good channel to bring to the light some scammers, you would have content forever, scammers would be brought out to the public and some buyers might get their money back.
