The Thor: Breaker of Brimstone Premium Format™ Figure measures 25.5” tall, as the God of Thunder summons the strength of Mjolnir to fight his molten foe Surtur. As Thor descends into the realm of Muspelheim, plumes of lava erupt from around the fire giant-themed base.
From the realm eternal, Thor wears sculpted Asgardian armor including his iconic winged helmet, wrist guards, scaled leg guards, knotted belts, and a black tunic detailed with realistic fabric-like textures. Silver armor studs adorn his costume and hold his immense fabric cape aloft. The regal red cape features weathering details and internal wiring for custom posing options.

The people who gave this a thumbs down must be either previous owners of Sideshow's modern Thor and are pissed it is outdone now, or their wives or girlfriends won't let them buy this.
nope. i own 2 of the modern age exclusives and i have one posed with the hammer and one with the sword. they are superb pieces and one of the best renditions of thor to date. this one seems to be "angry" thor. not saying i wont get it, but not the best example. i think i would put the avengers assemble one ahead of this one as well. thor is a thinking warrior. this one says angry teenager on steroids to me. i just dont like the face. looks like he is angry at mom because she told him he had to be in bed by 9. anyway, just saying.
@@waldopepper4069 on steroids, I agree. The rest, not so much. I didn't get him because of how buff he is. The big veins poping out is a sign of steroids. I know, he's damn Thor and he don't take steroids! But a more natural shape would have been better. Same thing goes for the new Punisher Premium Format released about 10 days ago.

Just got this piece. I'm blown away by it. Fantastic. So far it is the best piece in my collection. I can't stop looking at it. I found the magnet in the mouth a little weak but other then that a incredible piece to own. Very happy, satisfied customer. Thank you sideshow. If you keep turning out pieces like this I'm going to go broke.

I really want this piece. The only thing I’m hesitant on is the mixed media cape. I never owned a statue where I had to pose or sculpt a cape in place. I’m afraid the way I pose the cape would ruin the look of the statue itself. 😵
Are there care instructions for the cape? Mine is extremely wrinkled. Can we launder it?
Makes me feel that it may have major issues if it leans over. Not many contact points between statue and base. Anyone had this issue?

I wish sideshow would stop it with so much mixed-media. That's the main reason I pass on most of their pieces. Hardcore collectors tend to prefer solid-sculpt and I am no exception. Please ease up on the mixed-media Sideshow... I'm not collecting dress up dolls.
