    You should change your airintake with a malossi one or cut the extended pipe in your airfilter

      Malossi air intake ? I haven’t seen that on their website, are you sure that it is available for this scooter ?

    Thank you very much for answering, you are very kind and you solve a very big headache for me hahahaha
    Do you understand or know about motorcycle mechanics?
    Would you recommend this change? I don't understand mechanics but I imagine that doing this shouldn't give the bike any problems, right?
    Do you know if there is anything else that can be done to run more? It makes me very nervous that it's so slow...

      No problem at all, I am glad I could help. I do know something about specifically this scooter, but I am still learning everyday. I would recommend installing multivar 2000, because your scooter probably has rpm limiter set at 8000. With multivar 2000 you can reach higher speeds at lower rpm, for example without changes you can get 50km/h at 8.000rpm, with multivar you can get 60km/h at 8.000rpm. But installing it does take some experience, first of all you need custom screwdriver for 2 screws, you will also need special custom made tool or electric driver to open up everything on the inside where power transfer happens. I would maybe recommend getting a mechanic to do this job, at least that's what I did after trying to install it by myself, mechanic did it fast and for like 80€. On the other hand ECU is easier to install, I did it myself but if you don't know exactly what you are doing it can take a bit longer. And with ECU it just sets RPM limiter at 10.000 RPM (and some other stuff) and you can reach speeds of 60km/h at 10.000 RPM. So easiest would be to buy multivar 2000 and bring it to mechanic. With multivar and ECU you can reach higher speeds while going downhill. And I also think swapping the exhaust would help a bit, but I am not sure. Overall Multivar 2000 and ECU are your only good options because for SXR50 there aren't many parts available.

      many thanks for everything :)
      Yes, the idea is to take it to the mechanic and have him assemble it but I live in a very small town and the 49c.c. Here in Spain very few are sold, the majority are 125 or more displacement. @@DavisMerritt

      If I can at least ensure that the motorcycle reaches 70-80 km/h, that is already something of an improvement hahaha

      well I wish you luck, but in the end i would say it is worth it to make those upgrades

    Very beautiful Scooter and I think has better and bigger chassis, better suspension for a scooter with 50 cc engine.
    What is the fuel consumption in real conditions?

    • @DavisMerritt
      @DavisMerritt  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have done about 1500km and my average fuel consumption is 27km/l but it does do 40km/l on straight road

    • @DavisMerritt
      @DavisMerritt  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ECU costs around 230€ and Multivar 2000 costs 95€ but it is currently unavailable on malossistore

    Who shows speed going downhill 😢

      I have other videos explaining it and showing true top speed, I just wanted to showcase how malossi multivar changes rpm and how that affects going down hill
