75 years old living in Goldsboro NC USA. Traveled to Ireland in 2005, loved the country. Reminds me of NC. We flew into Shannon and then had to take 2 different buses but for the life of me can’t remember what town. Just remember it was 2 am when we got to our hotel. On a bus tour and had to be up and out by 7 am!!!! Would love for you to show us around Dublin to see what I remember from there. Happy I found you. Didn’t realize you are a published author. Oh Thank you Catherine for this video. I spent time in Adare, we stayed at the cottage with the green door at 30:39 and drove everywhere! Best vacation ever, traffic wasn't too bad, (Friday was busier) but we met so many wonderful people. We also stayed at the Bunratty Inn down the road from the castle, I highly recommend it! I was very blessed to visit Ireland 9 years ago and absolutely loved it. I hope to be able to visit again someday. I was able to visit Bunratty Castle via an Insights Coach Tour - "Country Roads of Ireland". Coach tours are so much fun!

I was there, in 2016, visiting my daughter who lived in County Waterford, at the time. Found out our last name is big in Limerick. But we stayed in Adare for a few nights.We walked to the pubs at night from our B&B because of the traffic.
This video makes me want to visit Ireland. I have wanted to from childhood but especially after I had my DNA done and found that I am 99.5% from that part of the world. I would love to find my heritage history like maybe even family that didn't immigrate to USA when my relatives did. OH my goodness, at 12:04 the plant trellis tunnel is amazing! I think those are lights strung on the inside of that tunnel and I imagine at night it is magical there! I love it it all, and have to say girl after my own heart... 3 pints of Guinness yes indeed!
Bunratty castle is wonderful! I went there a few years ago. I have the dubious honour of falling down the spiral staircase there, but got away with just bruises, luckily. Looking forward to seeing more of your travels. Hoping to go back to Ireland next year. 💖

I remember that lovely walled garden. Even in October, it was beautiful! And we drove a golf cart all around the grounds of the castle.

Lots of family from Ireland who came to Australia in my Ancestors with Moriarty, Crowley, Kelly & Reilly just to name a few. Drove around Ireland for 4 days by myself in 2015 and Adare was gorgeous on my way to Tralee to find family info. Thank so much 🇦🇺

I was very blessed to visit Ireland 9 years ago and absolutely loved it. I hope to be able to visit again someday. I was able to visit Bunratty Castle via an Insights Coach Tour - "Country Roads of Ireland". Coach tours are so much fun!

I was there, in 2016, visiting my daughter who lived in County Waterford, at the time. Found out our last name is big in Limerick. But we stayed in Adare for a few nights.We walked to the pubs at night from our B&B because of the traffic.

This video makes me want to visit Ireland. I have wanted to from childhood but especially after I had my DNA done and found that I am 99.5% from that part of the world. I would love to find my heritage history like maybe even family that didn't immigrate to USA when my relatives did. OH my goodness, at 12:04 the plant trellis tunnel is amazing! I think those are lights strung on the inside of that tunnel and I imagine at night it is magical there! I love it it all, and have to say girl after my own heart... 3 pints of Guinness yes indeed!
Bunratty castle is wonderful! I went there a few years ago. I have the dubious honour of falling down the spiral staircase there, but got away with just bruises, luckily. Looking forward to seeing more of your travels. Hoping to go back to Ireland next year. 💖
