Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi continues to cover the blessings, life and times of Ali Ibn Abu Talib [r], especially incidents during the lifetime of and involving the Prophet Muhammad [s]. Most incidents were mentioned during the Seerah sessions, but this video will recap the various incidents.
Watch the full video to learn about these stories and much more.
Presentation details: March 30, 2016 @ Memphis Islamic Center
In this series, Lives of the Sahaba, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi discusses the lives of the noble companions, some of the greatest and most blessed human beings to ever live after the death of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him [S].
While not a comprehensive history of the Khulafa Ar-Rashidoon, this series will provide a summarized biography of the men and women considered to be the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet [s]), including the Mothers of the Believers (the wives of the Prophet).

Sorry if abu bakr and lady Fatima AS made up and everything was fine can you tell me why she was secretly buried until today and didn’t want them at her funeral? And how did she die and what was the incident of the door when people forced themselves at the house of the daughter of the prophet pbuh. You know 6 months is a lot of time for Ali not to give alliance. Your dots do not make much sense brother.

Simply put, if the people harmed her in such a way, a person of Ali (r.a)'s character, who fought some of the mightiest warriors, traveled almost 400 miles on foot from mecca to madina, would definitely not let those people go scott-free. Let alone agree and give allegiance to a leader that he doesn't see fit, even if he waited for 6 months, although there is another opinion that he gave allegiance earlier and then a second time after 6 months publicly in front of the people.
I think people are putting too much spice into these disagreements and blowing them up to be larger than they should be as if there was pure hatred between them.

@@symbiotezilla12345 The Prophet said '' Of Whomsoever I am Leader Ali is also Leader ''. Abu Bakr gave allegiance to Ali when this announcement was made. Sunni Muslims don't give all the details. Shi'a Muslims focus more upon the 'untold' parts of history. It's no problem. We should not fight about it. But talking about it is fine.

@@Aliameem you people always exaggerate things too much, most of your books were written hundreds of years after these events, and without any single evidence or chain of riwayah, s those are written that, its pretty easy to figure out who caused actual fitna after the shahadah of utman

About the murder of Uthman Ali said to Mu'awiah (who sought revenge for it) "I am The most innocent of it", & he said "What has it got to do with you" ?
When a discerning believer finds out within the course of his life that Mu'awiah was the man who waged a war against Imam Ali (as), his immediate reaction would be that his doing that is the greatest evidence of his corrupted misguidance.
The penny would drop and he would realise how woefully irresponsible Mu'awiah was for ensuing the course of war against the Holy Caliph and father of Hassan (as) & Hussein (as),
The discerning Believer would not immediately think Mu'awiah was an Infallible angel for whom Allah had promised paradise and that therefore he could never be wrong and that the fault and decision to fight The Caliph of Islam Imam Ali (as), was beyond his control and that infact it was somebody else's fault altogether and that even if hundreds of Sahaba died because of Mu"awiah's decision Mu'awiah was 'helpless' & guilt free because in reality it was the fault of an evil Jew that made him do it.
Mu'awiah was the same son of Abu Sufiyan who fought Mohammad (S) and killed Muslims in his pre conversion Pagan days of Jahiliyya and he was the same Father of Yazid who ordered the killing of Hussein ibn Ali (as) at Karbala and he was the same Father who put his son Yazid upon the throne of Caliphate and it is this final evidence that lifts the lid from off the pathetic excuses to exonerate the man from his own evils, which were at the very least parallel to Pagan practice and at the very most, worse than the actual Jews who are accused of having influenced his decision in the first place .
And for every nation there is a Guide - Holy Qur"an.
      Wassalaam
