Ngl this audio is depressingly bittersweet, esp. when Haru says he’ll cherish you forever. An immortal (or at least long-living) kitsune and a mortal human… :[ It’s the same feeling I felt when listening to Salem’s dragon. Good, sad stuff.
I used to be afraid of thunder too. I have always had sensitive hearing, so while it didn't send me running to hide in a closet or under my bed, thunder was quite problematic. Not as bad as fireworks though; those still make me mad or panicked to this day. How terrible that one of Haru's previous shrine keepers was struck down by lightning. If his relationship with them was anything like ours, it stands to reason he would be afraid of storms because of it. Haru could have laid his head on my chest and listened to my calm heartbeat (I'm thinking something like that introduction scene of Tarzan and Jane in Disney's Tarzan.); soft, rolling thunder can be quite soothing in relaxation tracks, and like ocean waves, light wind, or guitar ballads, thunder is a soothing sound to me.
I miss Haru so much and, oh, only god knows how many times I've relistened all audious with him 🥺 He's such a comfort character for me and your voice in general is heavenly, like I'm being wrapped into the softest blanket ever existing in the universe. Tbh, I can't get away from a thought that follows me for weeks about Haru waking up in the shrine keeper's arms next morning and how afterwards they go for a walk in the forest or just simply meet a new day, possibly diving into a deep conversation about their feelings and relationship along the way,,, And I like to imagine that soon he will eventually let the shrine keeper hug not his tail, but, like, directly him. I guess it is really obvious how fond I am of this kitsune boy, huh. I really hope to see more of him ❤

( I start to ramble here, apologize if this is too long ! ) Apart from that, between 3:37 and 4:02, Haru mentions he had a "great loss in a thunderstorm", and the person he lost was his previous shrine keeper, someone he cared for alot, so that left a scar on him Taking that in mind, i have a small theory (another one, i know): The current shrine keeper (us) decided to take care of Haru's shrine, seeing how nobody really did so, it was their duty to do so ! Of course, Haru started to care for the shrine keeper, and he had a fear of losing them too, and so the decided to present himself to them (The shrinekeeper) To end my small rambling: Haru is a parental figure to the shrine keeper. They always keep the shrine keeper safe and sound, and the shrine keeper is always there to make Haru happy, no matter what ( Small angsty bonus: The shrine keeper doesn't have a mother or a father, so Haru is like a parental figure to them ) ( Rambling ends here ! ) Im loving this series so far, and im still gonna draw Haru fluff and angst bcs my brain can't stop having ideas ! >:'( Great job again, Mori !
