The 90’s was the best Era of music !!! Alternative, rock , punk rock , pop , hip hop , rap , euro dance , metal !!! I was blessed to be a teenager in that era !! 70’s , 80’s , 00’s , 10’s 20’s have also really solid music !!
55/70... I'm a nineties teen, but tbf, 15 of these were either by bands that weren't really known in the UK at the time, or songs by known bands that I just hadn't heard before. I bet Dido caught a few people out though, thinking it was Stan 😏
Glad I decided to click. Most of my teen years were in the 90s so it was a nice trip down memory lane. Missed like 10 or 12 songs but still was able to sing along just not come up with the song title or artist. Only song I completely whiffed on was Bullett with Butterfly Wings by The Smashing Pumpkins .... To me this was the greatest decade of music. Even though I only listen to rock and metal now, every genre in the 90s has songs I can listen to.
Born in 1984 and I only missed 4! I knew the songs and was singing along just didnt know the title. My favorite songs were My own prison by Creed & Lightning Crashes by Live
Only ones I missed were “Step by step” (I guess I’ve actually never heard this song before other than the refrain) and “End of the road” which I incorrectly guessed as being “I could love you like that” by All-4-One. Love the 90’s though; definitely enjoyed this quiz!
Thanks for the feedback. I totally agree. I just have to be really careful because if I make the clips too long, then I get copyright claims. I have been trying to make them a little bit longer on my last couple of quizzes.
Yet some people need a little longer though! I was born in 77 and grew up with all this music but I too need a tiny bit longer to process it. I mostly could say the artist straight away but the name of the song takes a little longer. Not everyone is the same ☺️ Thanks for the content though!
I got 68 out of 70 song titles **but** I knew Creed as a band, just not the song. I missed the Creed song by-name and I'm not sure I've ever heard of the Toadies. I got all the rest. Every. Single. One.
I thought that would be one of the songs that maybe some people wouldn’t know or remember so it’s pretty good that you knew the name of the song regardless of not remembering the artist it was by
Great video. Maybe 60 out of 70 where I actually named the song, and 50 where I could name the artist before the time ran out. There were only a couple that I didn't know at all. One was some boy band that looked like New Kids on the Block. I'm proud that I didn't know the song. Tangentially related anecdote: About 10 years ago I was working at a school and a co-worker said, "I think it's so sad about what happened to Brittany Spears (shaving her hair, etc), I mean, she represents our generation!" Right then I knew I was at the wrong school.
Born 1982, my favourite from here are Metallica and Prodigy! But I have a lot of sentiments to the rest. I appeared to be a bit rusty with my memory... 13 lost, 57 win, but maybe 5 I really didn't know.
47 titles, 45 artists right. Mostly missed the rap/R&B ones, but some of the rock/grunge titles I just could not remember who sang them or the title from the 4-second clip. Or they are very similar to another song by the same artist and 4 seconds was not enough to distinguish them. Crazy/Cryin' and Baby One More Time/Oops I did it Again, I chose poorly. :P
I'm a 90's kid (born in '89) and enddd up getting 60 out of 70. Hopefully that's not too bad lol. I grew up on most of it but there were a few I just didn't recognize
Blur or Red hot chili peppers. A little more into Blur song. A lot of 90s flashbacks. My music taste sucked in early 20s but in 1995 I had more valid sources of inspiration. My perspective evolved in high-school.
I was a 90's teen! Not only could I name the song and artist for every single one of these. I promise you I could sing the lyrics to each one from start to finish. .... well maybe not Informer, we never did figure out what the hell Snow was saying. 😂

@@Zohard104 I'm not familiar with that song but I will check it out! I do know Wagon Wheel which is a cover, but I really like his version as well. Of Course You're Welcome! I appreciate you playing and commenting so much!
@@QuizQuestTriviaTest well I am a music lover, and I enjoy channels that go over music and did my personal opinion. All those songs I mentioned are way better than his cover of wagon wheel, which is also pretty good.
False, Audio quality peaked in the 90s with Digital Recording. 80s and 70s music is full of noise distortions. Also, the Rock and Pop Rock scene of the 90s is superior to anything that came before it.

Song 2 by Blur should have been Song 2. 😁
You did not just post that......may God have mercy on your soul😦
My thoughts exactly
I came to say the same thing.
Nailed all the rock songs, hit and miss on R&B/hip hop.
80s and 90s were the biggest decades in music for me, I instantly recognized every song
Don’t Speak was not released in ‘91.
Miss the 90s so much
Born in the late 70's. Grew up in the 80's and 90's! 100% baby!!❤
I’m in ‘77 it was definitely all about RnB and Grunge! Loved it 😊
'77 here too, got them all.
A+ video!
LOVE IT! The best 90s Music Quiz I have ever seen!
Born in '79, got 40/70. Remembering song titles is tough.. remembering the bands is easier tbh
90s are goated
55/70...

I bet Dido caught a few people out though, thinking it was Stan 😏
I got 65/70. I was familiar with all of the songs, but the titles weren't coming to me for a few of them.
I remember Dido's song being very popular here before Stan. But I'm sure it still caught some people anyway
Thanks so much for this! Definitely was the era of Grunge and RnB! Was disappointed there was no Pearl Jam! They were a big part of my 90’s!!
Yep knew all the songs, but it was a little to short when it was playing the songs to guess.

I had 65/70! So proud of myself!🤓 I even guessed most of the years right. No. 27 No Doubt 1991 is wrong! And yes I AM an 80s/90s music junkie 😂
29/70. I need to brush up on my songs, even though I was alive during this decade!!!
😆
Good video but how could you do 70 songs from the 90's and not have ONE from Ace of Base? 🤯
55/70 for me. Some of the ones I missed sounded familiar, but I couldn't put a name to them
Well I certainly impressed myself there only got 6 wrong!
I.missed 1, Montell jordon. Knew the song but didn't listen to it enough.
Like these, but same advice....make the clues a bit longer, give people a chance to get into it. The samples are too short
Thanks for the feedback. I totally agree. I just have to be really careful because if I make the clips too long, then I get copyright claims. I have been trying to make them a little bit longer on my last couple of quizzes.
I had no problem getting every single one of these songs. But then again, as an 80's baby, this is the music I grew up listening to.
I grew up in the 90s n i knew every one haha
Lol not really. I knew them all minus the first ones name, but I new the song. So it's not about the amount of time limit.
Yet some people need a little longer though! I was born in 77 and grew up with all this music but I too need a tiny bit longer to process it. I mostly could say the artist straight away but the name of the song takes a little longer. Not everyone is the same ☺️ Thanks for the content though!
I missed two song titles, but got the bands (Green Day and Creed) and missed a song and artist.
Yep, that Creed song was one of the 2 that I missed. Got all the rest, though.
Got 62 outta 70!
Feels Nostalgia 👀 90' s kids here 🙋 I'm 42 now... You left...
Lenny Kravitz Song, Lisa Loeb... Watching from Cebu City Philippines 🇵🇭 (July 25, 2024)
I knew every song...but missed 5. Hansen, New Kids, Janet Jackson, En Vogue, and one other I couldnt get in time.
66/70 Damn those were nostalgia
Got 120/140. Only missed a few in total, but most were getting the band or song wrong.
I got 68 out of 70 song titles **but** I knew Creed as a band, just not the song. I missed the Creed song by-name and I'm not sure I've ever heard of the Toadies. I got all the rest. Every. Single. One.
The Toadies were real big in Texas. I’m not too sure how much their success spread outside of that but they’re a great band!
i got the toadies, im in england but i only know the song from playing guitar hero. ;)
@@wodm I had no idea they were on Guitar Hero! That's awesome!
The only one I missed was SNOW but I knew the song name!
I thought that would be one of the songs that maybe some people wouldn’t know or remember so it’s pretty good that you knew the name of the song regardless of not remembering the artist it was by
Ha ha that was one of the ones I got in 2 seconds flat! I’m in Australia and it was really big here!

Missed five titles and three artists. Of that, only twice did I miss both parts. I'll take it.
I got 57 right, 9 i remembered after seeing the title, and 4 i inexplicably think I've never heard before.
Dayum!!! Yes 🙌
One point for song and artist each. 114/140
I got every song and artist.
124 / 140 (Knew all but 3 songs and all but 10 Artists - 3*0+10*1+57*2)
This whole time I thought the # 46 Dido song Thank you was Eminems Stan song only 🙃
So I got like 49 correct, 7 where I couldn't tell the song title, but could the signer/band and 4 tip of my tongue
I did alright 60/70. As per my local trivia rules I gave my self 1/2 a point where I knew the band but not the song title and vice versa.
70/70 on artists, 68/70 on songs. Didn’t know the Creed one and guessed the wrong Janet song
I missed 5 lol I love these trivia pages
No 50 made me laugh because you put the song and artist in swapped locations
Born 1982, my favourite from here are Metallica and Prodigy! But I have a lot of sentiments to the rest. I appeared to be a bit rusty with my memory... 13 lost, 57 win, but maybe 5 I really didn't know.
51/70 There were songs that I knew but didn't remember the title or artist, I didn't give points for those. Really cool game :)
41/70 and I'm from 85 forgot about a few of them, so fun
47 titles, 45 artists right. Mostly missed the rap/R&B ones, but some of the rock/grunge titles I just could not remember who sang them or the title from the 4-second clip. 50 I never liked rap or hiphop so missed almost all of those
Gods I love this!! 💚💚
If we say it was out of a possible 140 points (1 for artist, 1 for song) I only missed 17.
I went to a Vanilla ice concert when I was 12 💚
What no backstreetboys?????? They were my late 90's thats for sure.
Blur or Red hot chili peppers. A little more into Blur song. A lot of 90s flashbacks. My music taste sucked in early 20s but in 1995 I had more valid sources of inspiration. My perspective evolved in high-school.
Meant in early 90s my music taste sucked. Puberty beat years.
55 / 70.... born 1980 :)
37 and 5 titles without bands
71/75 😎
95/140
Weezer 💚

Make this hard... 2 second clues!!
I thought I knew my music But it seems I was wrong. I missed 25 songs and my favorite song on this list is let her cry by Hootie & the Blowfish.
That’s my favorite song by Hootie & the Blowfish…

I’m literally less than 30 seconds into this and I’m immediately pissed off. Song 2 as the first song?? What were you thinking
Uh, No Doubt- Don't Speak is not 1991, it's 1995 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 get your facts straight
According to Wikipedia, the song was included on an album released in 1995, but the song itself was released in 1996.
