I found this tutorial the best on YT because the hands on is filmed well and the steps very easy to understand for a female first time homeowner! Thank you for your simplicity!
This is a great video - thank you for the explanation! I successfully turned on my system myself after a couple years of having the Sprinkler guys do it. Very easy job (though I will still have a guy come out to winterize it properly in Fall).
What does it mean if my circular valve box under the ground is flooding? Someone turned off my sprinkler last year and they were over there for some reason
This happened to me last year. The sprinkler valve heads sometimes have a bolt/knob you can loosen/tighten. I had no idea and when I turned things back on the valve box was filling up with water. I tightened those back up and that fixed it for me. I hope it's the same for you. There are videos of people showing how to do that too

The best hands down! Thank you!
Great job! By far the most informative and easy to follow video I found on YT to help “summerize” my sprinkler system. Much appreciated!

do you need to do anything in the in-ground valve box?
Hopefully you will be posting more videos . I’m sure you have replaced many backflow valves from froze pipes .
I will for sure!
@@crspools very helpful video, thanks!
Dont u have to open or close the system underground too? I see on other videos the person had to.
Just what I was looking for. Thanks!
Thank you for your help and support!
Very Helpful!
so you don't need to do anything in the green box in the ground?
So when u turn on the sprinkler valve from the basement, a lot of water should come out of the top of the Vaccuum breaker?
No that means your vacuum breaker is not functioning as it should
