What a horrible fate tir have He lost his best friend, his commander, his faithfull servant& his father too in his own hand But he keep move forward to fullfill his destiny
This game and the second one worked character deaths in extremely well. Sadly they kinda lost that aspect later in the series. Whenever they killed someone off in 3-5 it usually felt meaningless or like an obligatory death since most RPGs have at least 1 character die mid game and then sometimes someone also dies near the end, but Suikoden1 killed people off left and right and they worked it into the story really well.
Apart from Nanami in Suikoden 2 I don't think there is a lot of deaths that bothered me emotionally. In fact it was a bit cartonnish sometimes, like the people killed by Lucas. All deaths in Suiko 1 are treated greatly in comparision.
Teo Mcdohl the general of the armored cavalry gets one hitted by a blunt staff dies of what? This is the only part I can not believe in my Suikoden game playing days. An armoured general got hit by a staff from his son dies....
+skepy cukla I always knew Cleo was female, but I did think that Gremio was too. It's actually pretty common to be confused about the sex of the characters in Suikoden games.
@@PeyserConlee Cleo literally introduces herself as a girl the first time you ever talk to her, by saying Tir shouldn't barge into a "Lady's" room. There's also the event with Hix when he asks her why she fights in the army as a woman (since his home village only allows men to fight), so I have no idea how others confuse her as a boy. I can't remember if Gremio's gender was ever explicitly said, but I always assumed he was a guy. Now I'm curious...
One of the saddest parts of many in this game. Love the music at 4:15 too btw. Good stuff.
