Oh my goodness, Tennis! Yay! I only know a few of the terms because I read Prince of Tennis and I was addicted to that series during the time I was reading it. This was really interesting and you definitely took a risk! You really knew what you were doing when you decided to animate this and it felt like a really cool tennis match. I also liked the sense of rivalry towards the end and the encouragement to never give up! I believe this is going to be my new favorite original skit. :D
Yup! I actually played tennis back in high school and I thought it was a great way to show off some animation techniques that I learned. I had fun making this and I'm actually glad that I took the risk since a lot of the comments are positive feedback. Thomas is like the Akutsu of prince of tennis. I liked this animation. This made my day. I lost my grandfather last monday...so I have been having a hard time. It's been quiet in the house since he passed away. I miss him. My grandmother and BFF are having a hard time. He was my BFF stepdad. He had a major heart attack.
This actually reminds me of Pokemon for some reason. The trainer telling him to never give up, just like how trainers in the Pokemon anime say that. xD
As a tennis player myself, this seriously inspired me. I'm surprised you were able to make this such a great animation and I believe you deserve a LOT more subscribers. Question about the video: My tennis team uses the same people for singles and doubles. How did they expect you to win with an automatic 2 loses?
Thanks! Well since Tennis (at least the ones I played in) we did 6 singles games and 3 doubles games, which is a total of 9 games all together. And to win you just have to win 5/9 games so if 5 of the singles players one, then the forfeiting of the doubles games wouldn't be too big of an impact. Of course it is a huge disadvantage since the other team has 3 wins by forfeit already but it is definitely not impossible!
This reminds me of Marching band. Just as tennis is more than just wacking a ball, marching is more than just walking around in a field. The stuff the main character goes through in this video is similar to what I go through every single year. Also, YAY RED HAIR!!'
Also one more thing, make videos on what you wanna make. Not on what other people want you make. If you don't enjoy animating it, you aren't gonna put your heart into it. You probably already know this, but I'm leaving this here for you to remember when your channel c grows, and more n more people shout "MAKE SONIC", or "DO ZELDA." I don't know much about animation, but I at least know this, it's an art, not a service.

Tennis...i looove tennis and i was(might still be,dunno) super good at it. But i hate it when the other guy does this move just like in this video 3:42 And to be honest,it's even worse than in the video itself. Tell me,HOW are you supposed to counter something like that,definitely when the ball almost goes straight to the ground,it's beyond impossible to counter that(i think i failed to explain this correctly but i know that those who have played tennis know what i mean.) Dunno if that's legal,but personally i find it cheap and lame. To me it's just a cheap way to get yourself a win/point. One of the main reasons i lost a couple of times when i was still a kid. Now i am old and out of shape(blame the art school lol.)
