"Her voice is so sexual, but at the same time very childlike. Very vicious, but at the same time doesn't make you feel like it can do damage"Thom Yorke. Exactly how I feel when I listen to her.
Love that! Never TRUER words about Her ever-so enhancing & expansive DIVINITY whereas she EXPELS such Great Radiance of dark purple as multi-changing blues with some yellow as Immensely POWERFUL Auric Flowing energies climbs, stretches & even reclines outward while adept with such intense EMOTION, Focus, Direction, Freeflow/styling all well arranged, intact & completely within her control but as well entirely not as both healthily coexist within as without the Beautifully Wise and Fun-Loving/creating Child-Like Glow she endures while holding a Bull under her very graceful-like ID. Love All, MPSD
i have every bjork album and i have to say she helped with my depression so much...she would uplift me everytime i came from school. also her creative spirit has a lot to do with my art work. i thank you Ms. Guðmundsdóttir :)
I agree it is very interesting documentary, but also who she is, everthing what direct her as an artist, her life, where she is from and let us to reserch her so deeply that we are able to confirm yes she is great artist. some kind a book The documentary presents her as much perfect she is and "posses" briliant and unique voice and the TALENT.
Crazy unique artist. Music with much substance. Love her work and other deep alternative sounds from the likes of Tricky, PJ Harvey, Gary Numan, Massive Attack, James Blake,Portishead, Radiohead, Ghostpoet, Scroobius Pip, Eskmo, Unkle, AllFlaws
she is so damn beautiful and unique. i love her music so much! p.s. why do they interview actors for these interviews? i never understood that part of it.
Second of all, opera singers train for usually up to or over 10 years, they are seriously the Olympic athletes of the voice, they have to be able to perform up to 4 hours or even more depending on the opera. What's belittling about being at least EQUATED to an opera singer? That'd be an honor to me. People seem to forget operas are PLAYS. I don't know when opera became just a singing style to people.
The guy who said calling her an opera singer is "belittling" is clueless. It's not belittling, first of all, it's just inaccurate. Seeing as she doesn't perform in any operas and is not in an opera company, logic tells us she's not an opera singer to begin with, so why would anyone call her one?
Hopefully, that's correct mate. And I've been living here in the States since conception 35 yrs ago but decided to start anew and shortly move to Iceland, considering how very well much one can/will be learning from the self following so much more I find ever-so whimsically joyous carrying much inner contentment through intervals of brief evaluation(s) periodically...The Overall in reference to Learning all about oneself with FINALLY enough Privacy as well with time which I may choose soon as non-significant..Not to mention one of the very primary & initial reasons whereas is the exploration of everything Nature's bestowed within every neuronic flow within as pore without enabling One to learn how to inevitably become a mere jellyfish if ever so desired to...Alas, you've got the Picture ("Poetry In Stillness), mate. thats kinda sus bro
I loved Sean Penn's description of Bjork.. especially the part where he's stating she comes from w a t e r.
He's so pretentious. Why is he even in this documentary? Thom Yorke's description was better.
Been a fan since the 80's!!! I love her for who she is and because she is nothing like anybody else! She's untouchable!!!!!

She is one of those rare artist who has never used sex to sell records, that is so refreshing.

Bjork is timeless.
She seems so coy and sweet.
yes thaks for puting this up

best docu about her
The only guy eligible to talk about Björk's musical abilities is Thom Yorke.
His singing sometimes reminds me of the male version of hers.
I agree it is very interesting documentary, but also who she is, everthing what direct her as an artist, her life, where she is from and let us to reserch her so deeply that we are able to confirm yes she is great artist. some kind a book

tks for uploading these videos!
Magneira Real pleasure for me Bro
mainstream culture needs some exotic protoganists. thats the main reason for her success in my oppinion.
The main reason is she works with all the right hip producers, sound-designers, beatmakers of the day.
Crazy unique artist. Music with much substance.
Love her work and other deep alternative sounds from the likes of
Tricky, PJ Harvey, Gary Numan,
Massive Attack, James Blake,Portishead, Radiohead,

Bjork is the primate who never made the complete transition to human.. She is too clever and pure to be human..🐒🐵🐵🐵🐵🐒🐒🐒👽👽👽👽👾👾👼👼😇😇
that is how i feel about bjork you cant label her music, because she writes and sings what makes her happy, she doesnt need to stay in a boundary...
@amutinyinheaven i think his point is that labeling bjork as an "opera singer" is limiting because she crosses many genres.
I am proud to be a converted fan since 2008 when Volta came out.
Alguien sabe donde puedo descargarlo en español o subtitulado?

she is so damn beautiful and unique. i love her music so much! p.s. why do they interview actors for these interviews? i never understood that part of it.

Ballad singer? She does a bit more than that. I mean, a massive portion of her gift is in the writing of the music completely outside of singing.

Jokulsarlon! XXX
Yeah listen to ghostpoet, peepul
7:20 what's the title of the song??
Ravissant XXIV sugarcubes birthday

@amutinyinheaven i think you took his comment way out of context...
Right? "Only" is a stretch to far.

Maybe she appeals to the U.K. mainstream but definitely not the U.S. mainstream.
