Sugared Violets. This video shows up literally as I put the sample of Giardini di Toscana’s Celeste on my skin and clothing. It was an instant love. Vanilla sugar and violet is in the notes. It's weird how my reality syncs with your video. If you haven't smelled Celeste, I think you absolutely should. 😊
How sweet!!!💜 Complete oversight on my part over here!!! I had been saving my sample of Celeste and completely forgot about it! Oohhhhh, it does have a Raspberry note though, so we can feature it next!! Yay! Ty so much for reminding me!🤗
Finally, Janelle, such a lovely interaction and it definitely means you are a sociable person:) When you do your live, I shall be there (also a challenging schedule here!). Thank you for beautiful ideas for blends. Next to try is 100 Years from Louisianroma with Essence! Yay! I want a bigger bottle, because I only ordered the 10 mil or 8 mil! Oh!!! The other amazing suggestion you gave and I acquired: Sugar Me Sweet Anita!!!! Aquolina and Anita are 2 of the ones I will always remember you by. And Nuit Cobalt's Gray Cat!!!! (BEST blueberry in the Universe). Muchìsimas gracias!!!
Yesssss, that was so much fun! 🤗 The Century More is such an easy reach! Love layering with it! As soon as I get this new haul, I'll make sure to host another Genre week for us.🎉
Hey Janelle, thanks for putting us on to Sugar Me Sweet. The company is on my list to try. Have you ever checked out/reviewed The Scent 4 You? They make really inexpensive perfume oil dupes, and I’d like to hear your thoughts on some of them.
I haven't tried Sol De Janeiro 59, but I have tried Sugar Me Sweets Sugared Violets. I found that the powdery notes ( it may be heliotrope, it can have that tendency) came off a little bit play-dohish, which does kind of fade as it dries down though. Wonderous also had that play-doh smell, but H.O.S. Wonder Woman, the fragrance it's duping, kind of does too. I don't dislike Sugared Violets, I just like some of their other scents that I've tried more. Waffle Cone and Baklava are fantastic! I definitely look forward to trying out more fragrances from Sugar Me Sweet, particularly more gourmands.
I always forget to mention the candied powder tones in fragrances because if it's not baby powder, I don't think of it. Thanks! I haven't gotten any Play-Doh smells in any of the Sugar Me Sweets we've tried so far, I was half expecting the Marshmallow Fluff to have a Play-Doh vibe and was so relieved when it didn't. So interesting! The Gourmands have sure been lovely so far!🤗
Sorry I missed last video as I’m not a fan of wearing peach 🤷🏻♀️ but violet candy 😋 I have Mallow dapper dupe and it reminds me of Magic Marker raspberry scent. I weirdly love it and want to try the original 😂😂😂
Good afternoon or evening, Janelle. SOTD: CRIVELLI 🌺 Mahajad with the parfum that has surprised me (Janelle, muchas gracias!) AQUOLINA Gold. I was able to smell it in and out during my work day, and the blend is gorgeous!!!! I only have the Dapper (from Maison Crivelli) and Andromeda's Aquolina Gold. Both together an 11!
I received my Pistachio Fluff from Sugar Me Sweet and it is to my nose quite similar to the Pistache Body Cream. Dense... thick... I am blending with Love Don't Be Shy :)
I love 59 and I am wearing it today layered with Dua's dupe of Bianco Latte, because I get basically 2 minutes of performance and I needed something to layer it with. I'd love to have a more long-lasting experience of 59, though, so thanks for the into to Sugar Me Sweet's inspiration of 59! I really need to live my perfume experience, too, and though I like several SDJ scents, most of them do not last on me for what I feel is more than 10 minutes! Thanks also for the heads up about Genre, too, because I have been really frustrated in the past year or so with not being able to get any perfumes from Genre.
@@janelle-scenttalkfrommycloset Thanks so much! I got 6 in 10ml, and I have been missing getting them for a long time. I'm not on fb so I appreciate your help.
I’m so in love with 59 however it definitely doesn’t last I wish they would make a perfume just like 59 I’ve spent so much money on bottle after bottle of 59
@@janelle-scenttalkfrommycloset I have it in my Etsy cart for purchase first thing tomorrow morning ❤️I’m very grateful for your video I’ve been trying to find reviews on what is similar to 59 so thank you 😊
You lost me at "Byredo". Mojave Ghost and Bal D'afrique were both scrubbers for me. I was curious about the violets, so thank you for doing the review. If you say you think I'd like it, I'll order a sample on my next Sugar Me Sweet purchase. I did look up violet notes on Fragrantica and noticed that one of my favorite discontinueds, Lolita Lempika, has a violet top note, so now I'm curious again. What do you think? Should I order a sample, or no? :)
Hello Janelle, can you please explore amouage guidance please. Could you also provide dupes for it please. Guidance is such a beautiful scent, but I can’t afford the original 😢
La Perla Possibilities is a choice and the white Montblanc bottle. The one that looks like solid white "Signature" by Montblamc. Not the same, but sort of in the same family of notes.
I am confused on how to order from Genre, went back to each video and never saw a link. Love your reviews but have to say I sometimes find them hard to follow.
In the video she shows a picture of the ordering window that opens tomorrow. She also stated that she will link it in the comments on the community tab post tomorrow morning.

Mallow really did surprise me! The dry down is so yummy! Layers wonderfully! 💜 I don't think I would mind a magic marker raspberry either. 😅

Yup, it's a heavy one!!! Super interesting! The opening is intoxicating! The dry down is reminding me of Sora Dora Jany a bit.
