I'm a trainee from next month. I used to learn swiftUI, but my first company needs me to use UIKit, so I am going to watch your videos, they seem to be pretty informative.
same happened with today 21 Nov 2024 my company want me to switch to uikit from swift ui i hope you will have almost 3,4 years of experience right now , i am in tension beacause they just switched me today and uikit seems very difficult to me as compare to swift ui😮💨
Hello, how are you?? I like your videos. You explain very well. I would like to see more de your videos about Javascript, IOT, and other. I am from Argentina, my English is not very good, but I cant understand You. Good luck on your channel. I See You in the next video.
When I made that video, Swift UI was only a year old and it has improved since its second year. But can you tell me how you would select a photo from the camera library, or take a photo with the camera, or create a complex collection view like you see on the ios app store, without using UIKit? You also have to remember that CALayers are a simple yet advanced objects that you might still want to utilize in your apps and for that you will need UIKit.
It took me a really long time to learn iOS development and objective c. Once I got good, learning other languages and technologies was much more easy. The beginning can be really difficult though, for me it was maybe 5 years until I felt like I kind of understood what was going on. My advice is don’t learn for the sake of learning. Build apps and keep building apps. Learn by doing and eventually it starts to make sense
i hope your tutorials gives me hope because i am really disapointed today i am tranee and my company just switch me to uikit and its seems very difficult for me i am in trouble bro

Thank you. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos. What kind of programming are you interested in?
22:06 definitely farted bro 🤣
What you said about SwiftUI was debatable when it launched, but now that it's matured, it's silly to say you can't built an app with only SwiftUI.
Unless you need to interop with things like e.g. PencilKit (still based on the older UIKit framework)

Thanks for putting out the content. I am struggling to learn. How are you able to make videos on multiple languages?
Are you trying to learn multiple languages?
@@SamMeechWard No just trying to do iOS development for now
